Hvernig á að lesa úr stærðarteikningu

Stærðarteikningu er að finna neðst undir hverju mynstri. Þar eru öll mál í þeim stærðum sem eru í mynstrinu. Ef þú ferð eftir mynstri og heldur sömu hekl-/prjónfestu þá kemur flíkin þín til með að fá sömu mál og á teikningu.

Ef þú átt erfitt með að ákveða stærð þá er gott að máta eina peysu sem passar þér vel. Veldu því næst stærð út frá henni og málum á teikningu.

Ef peysan þín er 60 cm að lengd, yfirvíddin 96 cm og ummál neðst 108 cm þá jafngildir hún stærð L samkvæmt þessari stærðarteikningu.

Ummál neðst = 54 cm x 2 = 108 cm allan hringinn!

Yfirvídd = 48 cm x 2 = 96 cm ummál yfir brjóst!

Hei Karin. Da du byttet til rundpinne 5,5 startet du også å strikke A.4, A.5 og A.6 (istedenfor A.1, A.2 og A.3). Så når du har strikket A.4, A.5 og A.6 1 gang i høyden , er det disse diagrammene (A.4, A.5 og A.6) som skal repeteres i høyden, de andre resterende maskene strikkes som før (riller, glattstrikk, rett over rett, vrang over vrang). mvh DROPS Design

Dear Irene, you seem to have forgotten to count the A.2 stitches. 7 band stitches in garter stitch, A.1 over the next 18 stitches, A.2 (= 7 stitches), A.3 over the next 9 stitches, A.2 (= 7 stitches), A.3 over the next 37 stitches, A.2 (= 7 stitches), A.3 over the next 9 stitches, A.2 (= 7 stitches), A.3 over the next 18 stitches, and finish with 7 band stitches in garter stitch. 7+18+7+9+7+37+7+9+7+18+7 = 133 stitches. Witaj Aniu, układamy rękaw na płasko tak, aby był zgięty wzdłuż linii dodawania/zamykania oczek (środek pod rękawem, ten bok jest dłuższy niż z przeciwnej strony) i mierzymy na środku. Pamiętaj, że zawsze możesz przymierzyć rękaw i dopasować go do swoich potrzeb. Pozdrawiamy!

I am not smart enough to understand the Morning Glory Jacket Pattern. I did not have any problem with the cast-on, the Garter ridges, or the 44 stitches inserted . Dear Mrs Price, you have to insert markers (see video) and marker threads (see this other video) to mark specific places on the piece where you will decrease, this means you will either decrease at the markers or at the marker threads as explained afterwards. Then the different numbers of P stitches depend on the size, in this example you will purl 14 sts in the first size and 16 sts in all remaining sizes. Happy knitting!

Dear Mrs O'Neill, this diagonal length will vary depending on the width of piece (sleeves as well as front/back piece), depth of armhole, etc... so it might be easier to take inspiration from a garment with the desired raglan and the correct tension. Dear Mrs Archambault, note that the measurements in chart are in cm - convert into inches here. The measurements are taken flat from side to side, to get the circumference, you have to multiply then by 2, then convert into inches. Bust is given under armhole, then you'll find bottom edge at the very bottom and next measurements after bottom edge. Happy knitting!
