In deze DROPS video laten we zien hoe u een losse bies voor een vest breit en vervolgens aan het voorpand naait.
We hebben reeds de hals gebreid in boordsteek met knoopsgaten en 5 ribbelsteken aan elke kant. Deze biessteken worden in RIBBELSTEEK gebreid en op een hulpdraad gezet. Zet nieuwe steken op aan elke kant, welke later afgekant worden = kantsteken welke in ribbelsteek worden gebreid. Brei het achterpand in tricotsteek en meerder volgens het patroon. Brei dan de losse biezen op de juiste maat, voordat u ze samenvoegt met de pas, kant dan tevens de kantsteken af. Denk erom dat u knoopsgaten maakt. Naai de biezen netjes aan de binnenkant van de 1 kantsteek op de pas.
In deze video gebruiken we het garen DROPS Snow. Een bies zoals deze wordt gebruikt in de «Scent of pine Jacket» in DROPS 215-7, u kunt het patroon vinden door op de afbeelding hieronder te klikken.

Was also mostly think about how to manage the pattern when knitting back and forth. Reading the pattern I think I will have the white yarn on the wrong side many times. Do you work with multiple yarn buns to make the pattern work?

Dear Mrs Lakso, this technique can be used when the piece is worked in another pattern as the front band stitches or when the front band stitches will be worked afterwards with another colour/pattern - garter stitch also tends to tighten piece in height, in that case, you will avoid this since you will work the garter stithch piece separately. You can sometimes work 2 rows from the same side, ie 2 rows from RS (or from WS) each row with a different colour. to avoid cutting yarn. Happy knitting! 07.12.2021 - 07:39
