I guess I'm not making my question clear. How do I continue with the back with only 64 stitches and a 76 stitch pattern. I have another 6 cm to do down the back with only 64 stitches to work with. Do I just keep repeating P2, M3, M2, M1, M2, M3, P3 (which is 65 Stitches) leaving out the first 10 stitches of the pattern on each row for the next 6 cm?. I'm sorry. I may end up giving up if I can't figure this out. Its just not written out well enough for me to understand. Thanks
04.02.2015 - 08:04DROPS Design answered:
Dear Felicia, you will work over the 64 sts (with P2 each side, remember to cast off 1 st at beg of row from WS after dividing) in pattern as before, ie seen from RS, P2, M3, M2, M1, M2, M3, P2. After 6 cm over these sts, then slip the 10 sts for mid front and work them in pattern (M2, P2, M2) for 6 cm, then work over all sts again casting on 1 new st as stated. Happy knitting!

Still lost. With only 64 stiches how do I continue the back when its a 76 stitch pattern? Did I miss something that tells me to just knit the back or do I still follow the diagram? So sorry. But thanks for the help.
02.02.2015 - 18:59DROPS Design answered:
Dear Felicia, you are working over 76 sts: M.2 (4 sts), P2 , M.2 (= 4 sts), P3, M.3 (=14 sts), M.2, M.1 (= 24 sts), M.2 (=4sts), M.3 (=14 sts) and P3, then put on a st holder the first 10 sts (= M2, P2, M2), cast off next st, work P2, M3, M2, M1, M2, M3, P3 and cast off next first st at beg of next row = 64 sts. Happy knitting!

Next question. didn't have enough room in the other. How do I account for the extra stiches from the diagrams. The pattern doesn't tell me to leave out anything out to account for going from 76 to 64. thanks
02.02.2015 - 01:02DROPS Design answered:
Dear Felicia, in first size you had 76 sts, then you put 10 sts on a st hodler, cast off 1 st, work next sts to the end, turn and cast off first st at beg of next row = 64 sts remain on needle for back piece. Happy knitting!

Ok..so I am at the part of putting the stitches on the stitch holder for the forleg opening. I need to clarify what to do from here. Reading through all the other comments, I am understanding that I work the first 10 stitches and put them on the holder. Then I bind off the next pearl stitch then work across the row to finish. How do I bind off the last stitch? Do I do it when I turn and start the next row? Thanks
02.02.2015 - 00:56DROPS Design answered:
Dear Felicia, you are correct, you cast off the last st at the beg of next row. Happy knitting!

Sg.

Hej Lilian. Der er ikke nogen fejl. Du skal strikke: Str M: * M.2, 2 vr *, gjenta fra *-* 3 ganger, M.2, * M.3, M.2 *, gjenta fra *-* 3 ganger, M.1 (= midt opp på ryggen), * M.2, M.3 *, gjenta fra *-* 3 ganger. Dvs, 6x3 (18)+ 4 + 18x3 (54) + 24 + 18x3 (54) = 154 m.

After debating the difficulty of trying to follow your style of pattern, it took me two days but I converted it to a line by line North American style pattern. I began to knit last evening and it's turning out gorgeous. Not bad for a new cabler!! Thanks for a beautiful pattern folks at Drops!! My sweet Zoey will love this coat while she is riding with me in my wheelchair.

Is there anywhere I could download this pattern with less complicated, row by row instructions? I would dearly love to make this for my little dog Zoey (Shih-poo) as she gets cold very easy in our harsh winters. I got as far as the (k) knit increase to 76 sts., but when it begins M's (instead of 'cbl') etc., I get frustrated and lost. Please help me. God Bless, Shari Lynn
