How to crochet squares together with chain stitches and single crochet
In this DROPS video we show how you can crochet squares together with chain stitches and single crochet. Lay 2 squares together, wrong side to wrong side, and work through both layers like this: 1 single crochet around the chain stitches in the corner, * 4 chain stitches, skip 3 double crochets (= double crochet groups) and crochet 1 single crochet between 2 double crochets groups, *, work from *-* up to and including the next corner, work 1 chain stitch (transition to the next 2 squares), work 1 single crochet around the corner on the next square. Work from *-* until the row has been worked together. Cut the strand, then work the squares together in width in the same way. We use the yarn DROPS Paris in the video.
