Crochet: Granny square with color change
They are so popular and can be used on so many projects. In this DROPS Video we show how to make one. After each color change, work around the old yarn end to fasten before cutting it.
Chain 6 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 3 ch, 2 dc in ring, * 3 ch, 3 dc *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times and finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. Turn piece. Change color.
ROUND 2: 3 ch, 2 dc in first ch-space, 3 ch, 3 dc in the same ch-space, * 1 ch, 3 dc in the next ch-space, 3 ch, 3 dc in the same ch-space *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. Turn piece. Change color.
