Buon lavoro!

Hej, Har lige et måske dumt spørgsmål. I jeres opskrifter skriver i f.eks Drops rundpind (60cm) nr. 4.

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagram A.1. The whole pattern is worked in stockinette stitch. INCREASE TIP-1 (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase evenly, count the total number of stitches on the needle (e.g. 52 stitches) and divide these stitches by the number of increases to be made (e.g. 18) = 2.8. In this example, increase by making 1 yarn over after approx. each 3rd stitch. On the next round knit the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. INCREASE TIP-2 (for yoke): Increase alternately before and after the marker thread. In other words, on the first round of increases, increase 1 stitch after each of the 8 marker threads, on the second round of increases, increase before the 8 marker threads, etc. Increase after each marker thread as follows: Knit 1, make 1 yarn over. Increase before each marker thread as follows: Work until there is 1 stitch left before the marker thread, make 1 yarn over. On the next round knit the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. DECREASE TIP (for sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on each side of the marker thread as follows: Work until there are 3 stitches left before the marker thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (the marker thread sits in the middle of these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round with circular needle, top down. The sleeves are worked in the round with short circular needle/double pointed needles. NECK: Cast on 52-56-56-60-60-64 stitches with short circular needle size 8 mm / US 11 and 1 strand fog and 1 strand denim blue (= 2 strands). Knit 1 round. Now work rib (knit 2 / purl 2) in the round until the piece measures 5 cm / 2" from the cast-on edge. YOKE: Change to circular needle size 9 mm / US 13 and 2 strands fog. Knit 1 round where you increase 18-18-18-20-20-22 stitches evenly on round - read INCREASE TIP-1= 70-74-74-80-80-86 stitches. Knit 1 round. Now insert 8 marker threads in the piece as follows: Insert a marker thread at the beginning of the round (= mid back), skip 8-10-10-10-10-10 stitches, insert the next marker thread here, then insert the next 6 marker threads with 9-9-9-10-10-11 stitches between each one; there are now 8-10-10-10-10-10 stitches left on the round after the last marker thread. Now work stripes as shown in diagram A.1, AT THE SAME TIME on the first round increase 1 stitch by each marker thread – read INCREASE TIP-2 (= 8 stitches increased). Increase like this every 2nd round 8-9-11-13-16-17 times in total and on every 4th round 2-2-2-1-0-0 times (= a total of 10-11-13-14-16-17 rounds with increases) = 150-162-178-192-208-222 stitches. Work 1 round where you increase 2-6-6-2-2-4 stitches evenly on round = 152-168-184-194-210-226 stitches. REMEMBER THE GAUGE! After the last increase, continue with A.1 until the piece measures 25-26-27-28-29-30 cm / 9¾"-10¼"-10⅝"-11"-11⅜"-11¾" from the cast-on edge. When A.1 has been completed repeat the diagram in height. The next round is worked as follows: Knit 22-24-26-28-31-34 stitches (= half the back piece), place the next 32-36-40-42-44-46 stitches on a thread for sleeve and cast on 6-6-6-8-8-8 new stitches under the sleeve, work the next 44-48-52-55-61-67 stitches (= front piece), place the next 32-36-40-42-44-46 stitches on a thread and cast on 6-6-6-8-8-8 new stitches under the sleeve, work the remaining 22-24-26-27-30-33 stitches to end of round (= half the back piece). THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE. BODY: = 100-108-116-126-138-150 stitches. Continue in the round with stripes in A.1 until the piece measures approx. 21-22-23-24-25-26 cm / 8¼"-8¾"-9"-9½"-9¾"-10¼" (there is now 1 round left + 6 cm / 2⅜" of rib), but adjust the stripes in A.1 so that you finish somewhere in the diagram where the next round is neither navy blue nor off white. Then finish the piece with 1 strand fog and 1 strand denim blue (= 2 strands). Knit 1 round where you increase 16-16-20-22-22-22 stitches evenly on round = 116-124-136-148-160-172 stitches. Change to circular needle size 8 mm / US 11. Work rib (knit 2 / purl 2) for 6 cm / 2⅜". Bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl. The sweater measures approx. 56-58-60-62-64-66 cm / 22"-22¾"-23⅝"-24⅜"-25¼"-26" from the shoulder down. SLEEVES: Place the 32-36-40-42-44-46 stitches from the thread on one side of the piece on short circular needle/double pointed needles size 9 mm / US 13 and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 6-6-6-8-8-8 stitches cast on under the sleeve = 38-42-46-50-52-54 stitches. Insert a marker thread mid under the sleeve, i.e. in the middle of the 6-6-6-8-8-8 new stitches cast on under the sleeve (= 3-3-3-4-4-4 new stitches on each side of the marker thread). Continue pattern A.1 in the round. When the piece measures 4-4-4-4-4-2 cm / 1 ½"-1 ½"-1 ½"-1 ½"-1 ½"-¾" decrease 1 stitch on each side of the marker thread mid under sleeve – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 6-5-4-3-3-3 cm / 2⅜"-1⅞"-1 ½"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛" a total of 6-7-8-10-10-11 times = 26-28-30-30-32-32 stitches. Continue until the sleeve measures 36-35-35-34-33-33 cm / 14⅛"-13 ¾"-13 ¾"-13⅜"-13"-13" - (there is now 1 round left + 4 cm / 1½" of rib), but adjust the stripes in A.1 so that you finish somewhere in the diagram where the next round is neither navy blue nor off white. Then finish the piece with 1 strand fog and 1 strand denim blue (= 2 strands). Knit 1 round where you increase 2-0-2-2-0-0 stitches evenly on round = 28-28-32-32-32-32 stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 8 mm / US 11. Work rib (knit 2 / purl 2) for 4 cm / 1½". Bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl. The sleeve measures approx. 41-40-40-39-38-38 cm / 16⅛"-15 ¾"-15 ¾"-15 ¼"-14⅞"-14⅞". |
