How to work stockinette stitch (in the round) – Nordic knitting style
BEFORE THE VIDEO STARTS:
We have already worked a few cms of stockinette stitch.
THE VIDEO SHOWS:
When working in the round, all stitches are knitted on all rounds.

Our videos do not have sound. We are a worldwide company and our videos are watched by people speaking endless of different languages and many do not understand English. So since there is not a given language for us to use, we instead have written instructions to accompany the video, and then there is no sound to disturb while watching.

Witaj Anno, ważne jest napięcie nici. Gdy przerabiasz tylko oczka prawe w okrążeniach, to napięcie nici w każdym okrążeniu jest mniej więcej takie samo. Gdy przerabiasz w rzędach inne jest napięcie gdy przerabiasz oczka prawe, a inne gdy lewe-zobaczysz to po lewej stronie, w postaci takich przerw między rzędami na lewo. Potrzeba czasu, aby osiągnąć właściwe naprężenie. Życzę wytrwałości i pozdrawiam!

Il est difficile de trouver des aiguilles en dessous de 60cm . Je tricote avec du 80 cm avec un modèle de Stéphanie _made mais comme elle ne précisait pas d aiguilles plus petites j ai dû faire du magic loop et là pas cool !! J irais voir sur le site du coup. Bonjour Mme Humeau, quand on tricote en rond, la longueur de l'aiguille circulaire doit être inférieure à la circonférence de l'ouvrage, sinon on peut tricoter en magic loop (cf vidéo), quand on tricote en rond sur aiguille circulaire, on peut éviter un décalage au tout 1er rang à l'aide de cette technique. Dear Velma, you can but if your piece is longer than 60 cm, otherwishe you might require double pointed needles or a 40 cm needle depening on the circumference of piece. Happy knitting!

Er is helaas geen video specifiek voor dit patroon. Als het goed is zouden de steken wel gelijk moeten zijn op het voor en achterpand en op beide mouwen. Vermoedelijk is er dus toch ergens een foutje in geslopen. Welke maat brei je en hoe is je stekenverdeling nu?

Dear Mrs Treslove, correct, you are working in a kind of spiral, when working stripes, you can use this technique to avoid a jog, with stranded patterns, you might still see this small difference. Happy knitting!

Buonasera Francesca, può provare a lavorare i giri a diritto passando la 1° maglia di ogni giro a diritto con il filo sul davanti del lavoro e lavorare il resto del giro a diritto. Buon lavoro!
