How to bind off with knit above knit and purl above purl (knit 1 and purl 1)– Nordic knitting style
BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO:
We have already worked a few cms = about an inch of the rib, knit 1 and purl 1, and cast off a few stitches with rib.
To bind off with rib – or cast off with knit above knit and purl above purl – means that, before binding off, the stitch is worked in the same way as on the round/row below.
THE VIDEO SHOWS:
The knitted stitches are knitted and the purled stitches are purled, at the same time as binding off by passing the next-to-last stitch worked over the last stitch worked (on the right needle).

Als ik afkant (alle steken rechts, terwijl ik, zoals hier, een boordsteek 2 recht, 2 averecht heb) is de boord helemaal niet elastisch. Helpt deze techniek om de boord meer elasticiteit te geven?

01.01.2015 - 13:32Ik denk dat ik zelf het antwoord weet op mijn vraag. Ik kan de steken niet laten staan want dan zijn ze niet afgezet. dus breien en dan afzetten.Elke 2de nld.Das dus breien tot het eind ,keren en aantal steken afzetten . :)
18.07.2014 - 21:04Als ik voor een schouder voor de eerste afk. aan weerszijden 9 stk moet afkanten en dan pas elke 2de nld 2x 8stk moet ik dan voor de eerste 9afk. breien tot ik nog 9 stk over heb, keren en dan breien tot ik nog 9 stk over heb aan het andere eind en werk keren? Dan een nld breien, bij de volg nld 8 st afkanten, br tot eind van nld bij begin volg. nld 8 st afkanten etc...?
