Is there a written pattern of this jacket? I can't read the diagrams and don't understand them.... Kind regards Joelene
08.04.2016 - 12:06DROPS Design answered:
Dear Joelene, there is only diagram to this pattern, you will find diagram explanation with 1 symbol = 1 st or 1 group of st. Start reading diagrams from the bottom corner on the right side towards the left on every round (except A.1 - beg of round = 8th symbol) - remember your DROPS store will also provide you further personnal assistance. Happy crocheting!

What does A3.12times in total mean ..I do the rows once and get measurement correct i can not seem to understand....it says inA3 work rows 2,3,4, but if you turn page it says to work row 4 this way any help would be appreciated thanks
30.03.2016 - 15:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Sklarkowski, after you have worked A.2 around, you now work A.3 repeating the sts in A.3 a total of 12 times in width (on the round) - since you have then to work the armholes, you will crochet the first 2 rounds in A.3 in 1st size and crochet the 3rd and 4th round as stated under "size S/M" and continue then diagram as before - in 2nd size, you crochet the first 3 rounds in A.3 then work the armholes (size L/XL) and the first 4 rounds in A.3 in larger size before crocheteing the armholes (size XXL/XXXL). Happy crocheting!

Usually your patterns include size measurements for each size , however I can't find any size measurements for this pattern other than small, medium, etc.
15.03.2016 - 00:23DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Lindsey, you will find at the bottom of the pattern a measurement chart with all measurement for each size, taken flat from side to side - they are in cm (convert into inches here)- compare these to a similar garment you have and like the size to find out the matching size. Happy crocheting!

Hello-I've worked the armholes am at All Sizes. It states "Then work A.6 42 times in total on round AT THE SAME TIME on last round of A.6 inc 2 dc evenly by working 2 dc in same dc." I understand I need to add 2dc in order to make the 380sts required, however, where exactly do I add those 2dc? I have a feeling I'm going to have the same question in the final XL/XXL step where it states AT THE SAME TIME inc again. I'm just not understanding this direction at all. Thank you for your time.

Dear Mrs Pakalniene, please click here to know how to increase evenly on a row/round. Happy crocheting!

Hello, I am picking up crocheting after many years. I came across this wonderful pattern. I would like to make but I am having difficulty figuring out how much yarn to purchase. I don't understand when it says grams. I want to make the one that says 850g. How many skeins would I purchase? Thank you
21.02.2016 - 06:53DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Martin, amount of yarn requested for each size is always given with weight, ie size M needs here 850 g Merino Extra Fine / 50 g a ball (see here) = 17 balls are required in size M. Happy crocheting!

Hej!

CROCHET INFO: Beg every round with dc with 3 ch and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round, ch does not replace first dc. Beg every dc row with 3 ch. DECREASE TIP: Dec 1 dc by working the next 2 dc tog as follows: Work 1 dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), then work next dc but on last pull through, pull yarn through all 3 sts on hook. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1-A.10. Diagram A.8 shows how round beg and ends. NOTE: In diagram A.2-A.4, A.6 and A.10 first round in diagram is last round on previous diagram, it is not worked but shows how to continue. ---------------------------------------------------------- CIRCLE: Work 5 ch on hook size 5 mm / H/8 with Merino Extra Fine and form 1 ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Then work A.1 as follows: ROUND 1: Work 3 ch - READ CROCHET INFO, 12 dc in ch-ring, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch. ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in back loop of every dc = 24 dc. ROUND 3: Work * 2 dc in back loop of first/next dc, 1 dc in back loop of next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 36 dc. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE! Then work A.2 6 times in total on round. NOTE: A.8 in same diagram shows how every round beg and ends. Note if dc is worked in back loop, in or around st (applies for all diagrams). When A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 96 dc and 24 ch on round (= 120 sts in total). Piece measures approx. 28 cm / 11" in diameter. Then work A.3 12 times in total on round.
