Bind off edge with picot in DROPS 169-8

In this DROPS video we show you how to cast off with a picot edge. In the video we work like this: Bind off the first 2 sts on needle. (*insert right needle in between the 2 first sts on left needle (i.e in between sts on needle not true sts), make a YO on right needle, pull the YO through the sts and slip the YO onto left needle *, repeat from *-* 2 more times (= 3 new sts on left needle). ** K first st on left needle, slip first st on right needle over last st worked **), repeat from **-** 7 times in total and repeat from (-) along the side of the shawl until 1 sts remains. How to knit broken moss stitch and the loop in DROPS 189-18

In this DROPS video we show how to knit broken moss stich (1), the beginning and end of each rapport (1-4 round), how to cast on 20 new stitches to the in-laid loop, bind off and how to sew the bind-off edge together. We use smaller stitch numbers what it says in the pattern. We have already knitted 2 rapports (= 8 rounds) of broken moss stitches. How to work a spiral pot holder

In this DROPS video we show how we work a spiral pot holder, this technique is used in the pot holder Betty in DROPS 147-30. We show how to cast on 2 stiches and knit row 1-21, then we show row 91-98 where we on row 94 show how to pick up the outermost stitch in front loop from 1st row, knit the first stitch from left needle, pass the new stitch over. When it is worked to the marker (from row 90), we show the 1st decrease and the last decrease (knit 2 stitch together) and at the end we show how to work the loop. Knitted strap.

In this DROPS video we show how to work a strap which blends into the towel. Cast on X number sts (in this video we have cast on 18 sts). Work strap from RS as follows: K 2, cast of the next X sts (we have cast of the next 5 sts), pass the last st of the 2 sts over st just worked (= 1 st dec), K over the remaining sts. How to work a blanket from corner to corner

In this DROPS video we show how to work a blanket in garter st from corner to corner. We show how to inc on both sides in the beginning, then we show dec/inc to keep the same number of sts in the middle piece, and then the dec on both sides at the end. We only show a small blanket. How to knit a pumpkin

Puff Stitch Flower

In this DROPS video we show you how to work a crochet puff stitch flower. This little flower is easy and fast to make and perfect for decoration. Work as follows: Crochet 4 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 3 ch and work 11 dc in ch-ring (= 12 st). Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch. ROUND 2: **work 2 ch, *yo, insert hook in same st as ch2, pull through*, repeat *-* 2 more times = 7 st on hook (when pulling through, have your yo’s loosely match your ch2). Yo and insert hook in your next st, pull thread through and repeat 2 more times = total of 13 st on your hook. Make a final yo and pull through all st on hook. Ch 2 and make 1 sl st in next st. ** Repeat **-** 5 more times = 6 puff stitches / petals on flower. Fasten off.

How to end the raglan decreases on the front piece in DROPS Children 32-20

In this DROPS video we show the last two rows with raglan and neck decreases to the front piece in DROPS Children 32-20. The middle stitches are put on 1 thread for neck and each shoulder (5 stitches x 2) are worked separately. Left shoulder – start from the right side: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, decrease for raglan as before (slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch), knit 2 stitches together (decrease for neck) = 3 stitches on needle, turn work. Purl from the wrong side, 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, turn work. 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, decrease for raglan = 2 stitches on needle. Turn and bind off stitches by purling. Work right shoulder from the right as follows: knit 2 stitches together (decrease for neck), decrease for raglan (knit 2 stitches together), 1 edge stitch in garter stitch (=3 stitches). Turn work and work 1 stitch in garter stitch, purl from the wrong side, turn work. Decrease for raglan, 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, turn work and bind off stitches by purling. How to work raglan decreases from right side - back and forth

In this DROPS video we show how to decrease to raglan from right side, worked back and forth. Decrease as follows at the beginning of the row: Work 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (= 1 stitch decreased). Decrease as follows at the end of the row: Work until there are 3 stitches left on the row, knit 2 together and work 1 edge stitch in garter stitch (= 1 stitch decreased).
