Bobbles/PopCorn sts - crochet

alt 1: Crochet 4 dc (UK tr) (or what pattern calls for) in 1 stitch, but wait with last pulling through on each st until there are 5 sts on hook. Now pull through all 5 sts (i.e. the 4 dc are crochet tog to 1 dc). Continue with 1 st in each st until next bobble. alt 2 (larger): Crochet 4 dc (UK tr) (or what pattern calls for) in 1 stitch. Take the hook out from the loop on last st, stick hook through 1st st and then back through loop on 4th st, pick up yarn and pull through both sts. Continue with 1 st in each st until next bobble.

Bobble stitch crochet

In this video we show how to make the pretty crochet bobble stitch. Decorative and fun to decorate scarves, hats and much more. A bobble is created by working several dc's together into the same stitch. Work like this: chain 20, turn and start working in 2nd ch from hook. Row 1: 1 sc, *in next st work 4 dc tog, 3 sc*, continue *-* until 1 st remain on row, work 1 sc, turn. Row 2: ch 1, work 1 sc in each of the 20 sts, turn. Row 3: ch 1, *work 3 sc, in next st work 4 dc tog*, continue *-* and work sc in last 3 sts, turn. Row 4: ch 1, work 1 sc in each of the 20 sts, turn, 1 lm. Repeat row 1 - 4.

How to crochet an easy bubble

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet an easy bubble. We only show how to crochet 2 bubbles with 3 single crochet between (= right side) and how to work double crochet from the wrong side. Bubble= * Wrap the yarn over the hook and insert the hook around the top of the bobble from previous row, wrap the yarn around the hook and pull the yarn through the bobble, pull a little in the yarn to get it longer * repeat *-* 2 more times. Yarn over the hook and pull it through 6 loops on the hook, yarn over again and pull through the 2 last loops on hook. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video.

How to crochet «balloon» bubbles

In this DROPS video we show you how to crochet bubbles to the neck warmer in DROPS 93-33. We work with less stitches than it`s written in the pattern and we show the beginning and ending in each row 1 to 5. How to work a bobble with 4 treble crochets

In this DROPS video we show how to work a bobble with 4 treble crochets, used in the «Slice of summer» shawl in DROPS 200-21. Work as follows around chain space below: Put the hook under the chain space and get the thread, 4 treble crochets but wait with last yarn over and pull through on each of these treble crochets, put the hook under the chain space and get the thread, make a yarn over and pull through all 7 loops on hook. «Slice of summer» shawl are worked in DROPS Safran, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. How to work a double treble crochets bobble

In this DROPS video we show how to work a bobble consisting of 5 double treble crochets. Work like this: 1 double treble crochet but wait with last pull through= 2 loops on hook. Work 4 double treble crochets the same way = 6 loops on hook. Make 1 yarn over on hook and pull through all loops on hook. Tighten well before continuing. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. Crochet: Small bobble

In several of our popular crochet designs we include small decorative bobbles. For example in Drops design 100-1, which is the one we are showing in this DROPS Video. This is how you make the bobble: crochet 4 very loose hdc without pulling yarn through (= 9 loops on hook). Make a yo and pull yarn through the first 8 loops. How to crochet bobbles in a lace pattern

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet a bobble in a lace pattern after a section of a chart. This bobble is used in the sweater «Shell Seeker Sweater» in DROPS 240-3 and in the jacket «Shell Seeker Cardigan» in DROPS 240-4. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. Crochet: Fan pattern

A fan pattern can consist of different number of stitches and types of stitches. In this video we show two simple fan patterns. In the first part of the video the fan consist of 4 dc's with 2 ch between each, and second fan pattern has 6 tr's with 2 ch between each. In the video we have already worked 3 rows of fan pattern. Ch 4, then *2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the same ch-space*, repeat *-* 3 more times, end with 1 ch and 1 dc in 3rd ch from previous row. In the last part of the video we show the same fan pattern, but the 2 dc's are replaced with 3 tr's. Crochet: Wave pattern

Crochet: Easy lace

In this DROPS video we show how to work a bookmark with lace pattern. Row 1: Ch 4, in the 4th ch from hook work: 3 dc, ch 5, 3 dc. Relief Crochet

Also called Raised Crochet. You can create a relief texture on a crochet piece by working in the front and back post of a stitch. In our video we are working every other stitch as a normal dc, and every other st as a relief dc stitch. Start with a row of regular dc. On next row we are working "1 dc, 1 relief dc in front post", on 3rd row we are working the relief sts in the back post. This creates a rib texture on the right side. Another popular texture in relief sts are called basket weave, we have a separate video for that.

How to crochet a texture cable

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet a texture pattern that is forms like a cable, used in the Blushing Embers sweater in DROPS 206-33. First we easy show how to crochet a chain stitch rings with 8 chain stitches and 1 slip stitch, that later will be put together to a cable. We work double crochet between the chain stitch rings. Then we show how to crochet the chain stitch rings together so it becomes a cable. At the end we show how to work the cables with a slip stitch so it fastened to the round with double crochet.
