How to knit with 2 threads to get a stronger heel - knitting tip

In this DROPS video we show how to get a stronger heel on a sock by knitting with 2 threads. Use strand inside and outside of ball (or use 2 balls) and work 1 stitch alternately with one and the other strand. This way you get a thicker heel without working with double strand. In the video, we already have knitted the rib and put the stitches mid on top of foot on a stitch holder and we show 2 rows where we knit with 2 strands. These socks are knitted in DROPS Karisma, but in video we use a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly. Bonjour Mme Hubac, regardez bien la vidéo, vous allez tricoter alternativement avec le fil de l'intérieur de la pelote et celui de l'extérieur (comme un jacquard, 1 maille sur deux avec les fils), et sur l'envers, de la même façon, tout simplement. Bon tricot!
