How to knit the fan pattern in DROPS 165-29

In this DROPS video we show how to knit the fan pattern for the Alma shawl in DROPS 165-29. We begin with inserting the marker after the first 5 sts, and knitting first row on RS: K 1, 1 YO and K rest of row, turn piece. Then we knit the FAN pattern. When fan is done (after 32 rows in total), we K back over all sts. To avoid holes in transitions between turns on fan, we slip yarn between each of the 16 sts twisted back on needle and K tog with st. Ebben a DROPS Videóban azt mutatjuk meg, hogyan kössük a DROPS 143-5-ös mintában található lustakötéssel és csipkemintával készült kendőt. 9 szemet szedtünk fel a kötőtűre. Jelölőt tettünk a középső szembe, ésa következő módon haladunk (a SZO felől): 3 S, 1 RH, 3 S, 1 RH, 3 S = 11 szem. Majd minden sorban S szemekkel kötünk, miközben, minden SZO sorban 4 szemet szaporítunk a köv módon:1 RH a 3 lustakötéses szélszem mellett, mindkét oldalon, és egy-egy RH a jelölt (= középső) szem mindkét oldalán. A köv sorban a RH-okat S szemként kötjük le, hogy lyukakat képezzenek. Addig kötünk, hogy 39. szem legyen a kötőtűnkön (gyorslejátszás előre). Ezután, egy ismétlést kötünk az A.1-es, A.2-es mintából ott, ahol az A.1-es és az A.2-es minták a középső szem két oldalán helyezkednek el – az A.1-es a jobboldalon, az A.2-es a baloldalon. In this DROPS video we show you how to cast off with a picot edge. In the video we knit like this: Cast off the first 2 sts on needle. (*insert right needle in between the 2 first sts on left needle (i.e in between sts on needle not true sts), make a YO on right needle, pull the YO through the sts and slip the YO onto left needle *, repeat from *-* 2 more times (= 3 new sts on left needle). ** K first st on left needle, slip first st on right needle over last st worked **), repeat from **-** 7 times in total and repeat from (-) along the side of the shawl until 1 sts remains.
