So the instructions for the purl row have been omitted in that case. No problem, except It is unusual and so it leaves the question. Thanks .

Dear Sharon, can you please explain your question? I'm afraid I'm not understanding what you mean here, sorry and thank you in advance.

Hello. Is the collar knitted and then assembled or is it worked by picking up stitches from the main garment? Im also curious as to how to get only 7 stitches on size 12 needles be because I get 10- and they are not knitted tightly. I will use bigger needles of course , but I am just checking that the directions are correct. Should I assume the instructions for the purl rows were just omitted rather than assume they are worked in exactly the same way as the knit rows? Thanks.
04.03.2019 - 10:08DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sharon, this jacket is worked together with 1 yarn group E (Ull-Flamé) + 1 yarn group C (Vivaldi) and you should get a tension of 7 sts = 10 cm - remember to adjust the needle size if needed. Collar is then worked picking up sts from thread (front pieces) and around neckline. When working rib P4/K4 from RS you will have to work P over P and K over K from WS to keep the rib pattern. When working stocking stitch, purl all sts on WS rows. Happy knitting!

Merci d'avance !

Bon tricot!
