Quite a few years ago I knitted a long, unbuttoned jacket in Alpaca (100% Alpaca) and Vivaldi (56% mohair, 14% wool, 30% polyamide) - one strand of each knitted together throughout. It had a rippled effect on the bottom by casting on about 1000 stitches and then decreasing rapidly. Are you able to tell me what ply the two yarns together are equivalent to please as I can no longer find the pattern? Thank you.

Dear Gayle, I believe you are talking about the following pattern: https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=4735&cid=19. The pattern is worked with C+A group yarns (10ply+5ply) . Happy knitting!
