Bon tricot!

Body: Cast on 178-190-208-232-250 sts on smaller circular needles. P 1 row (wrong side row), then knit Rib-1 keeping 4 sts at each edge in garter st and begin rib with K 2 (as seen from the right side). Make buttonholes – see instructions above. When the piece measures 7 cm change to larger circular needles and stockinette st, but keep the 16 sts at each side (center front edges) as before (4 sts garter st, K 2, P 4, K 2 and P 4) to finished measurements. Place a marker 48-51-55-61-66 sts in from each side = 82-88-98-110-118 sts between markers on back. When the piece measures 10 cm inc 1 st at each side of each marker every 6 cm a total of 4 times = 194-206-224-248-266 sts. When the piece measures 36-37-38-39-40 cm bind off 10-10-10-12-12 sts at each side for armhole (5-5-5-6-6 sts at each side of each marker) = 80-86-96-106-114 sts on back and 47-50-54-59-64 sts on each front. When the piece measures 17-17-17-18-20 cm inc 1 st each side of marker every 3-2.5-2-2-1.5 cm a total of 9-11-13-12-14 times = 72-76-80-84-88 sts. When the piece measures 45-45-45-44-44 cm bind off 5-5-5-6-6 sts each side of marker = 62-66-70-72-76 sts. Put sts on a st holder and knit 2nd sleeve. Yoke: Read entire section before knitting: Put the sleeves in on the same circular needles as Body where you bound off for armholes = 298-318-344-368-394 sts. Knit Pattern 1 (the next row is a right side row), keeping the 16 sts at each center front edge as before, and dec 10-12-2-8-16 sts evenly distributed on third row of Pattern 1 (do not dec over sts on button bands) = 288-306-342-360-378 sts. Knit the next row as follows (right side): 16 edge st as before, Pattern 2 over the following 252-270-306-324-342 sts, Pattern 3 (= 4 sts) and finish with 16 edge sts as before. Continue the pattern as established, decreasing following chart for Pattern 2. After Pattern 2 is complete you have 204-216-240-252-264 sts. On the next row (right side row) dec 2 sts in each cable as follows: K 2 tog, slip 1 st as if to knit, K 1, psso (the remaining sts knit the same as before = 174-184-204-214-224 sts. Continue in rib. When the piece measures 48-50-52-51-53 cm dec 1 st in each purled section in M.2 - seen from the right side (but not dec in sts on buttonbands) as follows: dec a total of 6 times by alternately purl the 2 first sts tog, and purl the 2 last sts twisted tog (the 2 sts over each cable continues in stocking sts). Sizes S + M + L: dec on every 4 rows Sizes XL + XXL: dec on every 6 rows After last dec 90-94-102-106-110 sts remain on needles. When the piece measures 59-61-63-65-67 cm knit 4 rows stockinette st over all sts (including over buttonbands) = rolled edge. Bind off – so that the bound-off edge will not be too tight, make and bind off a yo approx. every 5 sts. Assembly: Sew opening under the sleeve. BOA: Length: approx. 150 cm [59"] Materials: Garnstudio SNOW 50 gr nr 09, dusty pink and use: Garnstudio PUDDEL 50 gr nr 03, brown and use: Garnstudio VIVALDI 50 gr nr 13, beige Boa: Make a template out of cardboard as shown on page 49 of Drops No. 92. Size and shape are shown in "Tegn. 1" (Figure 1). Mark the center line as shown. You will be working with a single strand/ball of Vivaldi and also with triple strands (1 strand each Puddel, Snow and Vivaldi). Make a loop with Vivaldi and lay it on the center line of the template so that the loop faces down toward bottom edge of template and yarn lies over the template – see "legn. 2". Hold the Vivaldi loop and the ends of the triple strands with left thumb and wind the triple strands around right side, then left side of template, then bring triple strands forward to center again (see fig. 3 – you have made a Figure 8 with the triple strands). Pull up Vivaldi loop and finger crochet 1 ch around the triple strands in the middle of the figure 8, pull tight and then pull up a new loop of Vivaldi – see "legn. 4". Remove figure 8 from template and continue to make figure 8s with triple strands in the same manner. until boa measures approx. 150 cm long. Now stitch through the row of finger crochet loops with Vivaldi as shown in "Tegn. 5" to secure the loops and figure 8s. |
