Here is a great almost invisible method to increase by knitting a new stitch in the loop from the stitch on previous row. You can do it after or before a stitch just as we show in the video.
Right side: put your left needle through stitch 2 rows below the stitch on the right needle. Lift it up on your left needle and knit it in the back loop.
Left side: put your right needle into the stitch under the first stitch on your left needle. Pick up the loop and put it on your left needle. Knit this new stitch in the front loop, and also knit following stitch separate as usual.

This is also a great method when you need to inc two stitches right next to each other, without having to work a stitch between them.
You can knit 1, make a inc in the st below, then make an inc in the st below next st, then knit that st.

Hei Marianne. Plukk opp tråden mellom 2 masker omgangen under (se evnt. hjelpevideoen: Udtagning - usynlig måde). På neste omgang strikkes tråden drejet vrang, altså i den bakre maskebuen, mvh DROPS Design

Lieber Herr Grabow, also bei den Ärmeln in diesem Modell haben Sie eine gerade Maschenanzahl, das bedeutet, Sie können entweder wie in diesem Video zunehmen: am Anfang der Runde wie bei der 1. Zunahmen in diesem Video, und dann nehmen Sie bei der nächsten Maschen zunehmen, im Video gibt es ja eine Masche dazwischen, diese Masche können Sie einfach nicht stricken - sonnst können Sie auch beidseitig der letzten + der ersten Maschen der Runde mit 1 Umschlag zunehmen (und die Umschläge dann verschränkt stricken). Viel Spaß beim stricken!

Bonjour Mme Thuilliez, si vous tricotez la manche en rond, vous pouvez augmentez ainsi dans la dernière maille du tour et dans la 1ère maille du tour, ou bien augmenter avant la dernière maille et après la 1ère maille (= 2 mailles au milieu sous la manche). Bon tricot!

When you are told to make a yarn over (yo) on the purl side of your work, you make the yo exactly as when done on the right side. In this DROPS Video we show how to do so. On the next row you can create a hole by working into the front loop of the yarn over. Then we show again how to make the yarn over on purl side, and then on next row we work into the back loop to show how the yo (increase) that way can become invisible, and not create a hole.

Our video is showing a K2 P2 rib where the P2 inc to P3. From RS pick up the yarn between K1 P1. Purl this stitch twisted, i.e. purl in the back loop of the stitch.

This is an increase that creates a decorative hole. In the video we show 2 times how you increase 1 stitch by making a yarn over (yo) Halfway through the video we have turned the work and show you how to work the yo in front or back loop depending if you prefer a larger or smaller hole. When working the back loop the stitch becomes twisted and this way the hole becomes a bit smaller.

A common and very easy method to increase 1 stitch – there will be a little hole. In our video we show twice how you make a loop on right needle with the working thread away from you. You can make the increased stitch lean in different directions. If you want the inc stitch to lean to the left you make a loop on right needle with the working thread towards you.
