Ich nehme bei Größe 9/10 in A1 doch in der 1. Runde nach 2 Maschen durch den Umschlag 1 zu. Das heißt das 39 Maschen dazukommen. Dann lande ich doch nicht bei 104 Maschen. 78 + 39 =107..\r\nWo liegt mein Denkfehler?
01.11.2024 - 20:43DROPS Design answered:
Liebe Tina, bei der 1. Runde in A.1 wird man jeweils 2 Maschen in jedem A.1 zunehmen, so sind es 8 Maschen in jedem von den 13 Rapporte = 8 x 13 = 104 Maschen. Viel Spaß beim Stricken!

Thank you for getting back but A1 has 4 increases. 2 knit 1 in the stitch below this stitch and 2 yarn overs. that will give you 4 increases for every 8 stitches. So by the end of the row you would have 110.
09.09.2021 - 15:33DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Shahrazan, the symbol to increase is the 4th symbol (= you can see it for example in the first st in A.2 and in the 9th st in A.3), the symbol used in A.1 is the next to last symbol = black oval = yarn over. Hope this will help. Happy knitting!

I think the increase amount after A1 for 3-4 size is incorrect. The patter says after completing A1 the total amount of stitches should be 88 stitches but you end up with around 100 stitches. I pulled apart the sweater 3 or 4 times and ended up with around 100 stitches.
08.09.2021 - 18:39DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Shahrazan, you increase 2 sts on the first row in A.1 , in size 3/4 you repeat A.1 a total of 11 times; ie you repeat the 6 sts in A.1 a total of 11 times = 66 sts; on this first row you increase 2 sts in each A.1 = 2 sts x 11 = 22 sts increased = 88 sts in total. And there are now 8 sts in each A.1. Can this help? Happy knitting!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. INCREASE/DECREASE TIP (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase/decrease evenly, count the total number of stitches on needle (e.g. 72 stitches), and divide by the number of increases/decreases to be made (e.g. 6) = 12. In this example, increase by making 1 yarn over after each 12th stitch. On the next row work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. When decreasing, knit together each 11th and 12th stitch. DECREASE TIP (for sleeves): Start 3 stitches before the marker thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker thread sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (2 stitches decreased). BINDING-OFF TIP: To avoid the bind-off edge being tight you can bind off with a larger size needle. If the edge is still tight, make 1 yarn over after approx. each 6th stitch at the same time as binding off; the yarn overs are bind off as normal stitches. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The neck and yoke are worked in the round with circular needle, from mid back and top down. The yoke is divided for body and sleeves and the body is continued in the round with circular needle. The sleeves are worked with double pointed needles, top down. DOUBLE NECK: Cast on 60-64-66-68-70-72 stitches with short circular needle size 5 MM = US 8 and 1 strand of each quality (= 2 strands). Knit 1 round. Change to short circular needle size 4 MM = US 6. Work rib in the round (knit 1, purl 1) for 7 cm = 2¾". The neck is folded double later. Insert a marker in the middle of the row (= mid-front) – the yoke is measured from this marker! Knit 1 round at the same time as you increase 0-2-0-4-8-6 stitches evenly spaced – read INCREASE/DECREASE TIP = 60-66-66-72-78-78 stitches. Purl 1 round and knit 1 round. YOKE: Change to circular needle size 5 MM = US 8 and work A.1 in the round (= 10-11-11-12-13-13 repeats of 6 stitches). After the first round in A.1 there are 80-88-88-96-104-104 stitches. Complete A.1 then repeat the 2 rounds with stars in A.1 until the piece measures 3-3-3-4-4-4 cm = 1⅛"-1⅛"-1⅛"-1½"-1½"-1½" from the marker on the neck. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! Now work A.2 (= 10-11-11-12-13-13 repeats of 8 stitches). After the first round in A.2 there are 120-132-132-144-156-156 stitches. Complete A.2 then repeat the 2 rounds with stars in A.2 until the piece measures 6-7-7-8-8-9 cm = 2⅜"-2¾"-2¾"-3⅛"-3⅛"-3½" from the marker. Now work A.3 (= 10-11-11-12-13-13 repeats of 12 stitches). After the first round in A.3 there are 160-176-176-192-208-208 stitches. Complete A.3 then repeat the 2 rounds with stars in A.3 until the piece measures 13-14-15-16-17-18 cm = 5⅛"-5½"-6"-6¼"-6¾"-7" from the marker. Knit 1 round where you increase 8-4-14-8-4-14 stitches evenly spaced = 168-180-190-200-212-222 stitches – remember INCREASE/DECREASE TIP. Continue with stockinette stitch until the piece measures 14-15-16-17-18-19 cm = 5½"-6"-6¼"-6¾"-7"-7½" from the marker. On the next round divide the yoke for the body and sleeves as follows: Work 25-27-29-30-32-34 stitches in stockinette stitch (= ½ back piece), place the next 34-36-38-40-42-44 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 6 stitches (= in side under sleeve), work 50-54-57-60-64-67 stitches in stockinette stitch (= front piece), place the next 34-36-38-40-42-44 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 6 stitches (= in side under sleeve), work 25-27-28-30-32-33 stitches in stockinette stitch (= ½ back piece). The body and sleeves are finished separately. THE PIECE IS NOW MEASURED FROM HERE! BODY: = 112-120-126-132-140-146 stitches. Insert a marker in the middle of the 6 stitches cast on under each sleeve. Start the round at one of these markers and work stockinette stitch in the round for 14-17-20-23-26-28 cm = 5½"-6¾"-8"-9"-10¼"-11". There is approx. 5 cm = 2" left to finished length. Try the sweater on and work to desired length. To avoid the following rib being tight, work 1 round where you increase 12-12-12-14-14-14 stitches evenly spaced = 124-132-138-146-154-160 stitches. Change to circular needle size 4 MM = US 6 and work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 5 cm = 2". Bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl – read BINDING-OFF TIP! The sweater measures approx. 36-40-44-48-52-55 cm = 14¼"-15¾"-17¼"-19"-20½"-21⅝" from the shoulder down. SLEEVES: Place the 34-36-38-40-42-44 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on double pointed needles 5 MM = US 8 and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 6 stitches cast on under the sleeve = 40-42-44-46-48-50 stitches. Insert a marker thread in the middle of the 6 stitches under the sleeve. Start at the marker thread and work stockinette stitch in the round. When the sleeve measures 1 cm = ⅜" from the division, decrease 2 stitches under the sleeve – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 6th round a total of 4 times = 32-34-36-38-40-42 stitches. Continue working without further decreases until the sleeve measures 17-20-24-29-32-36 cm = 6¾"-8"-9½"-11⅜"-12½"-14¼" from the division. There is approx. 5 cm = 2" left to finished length. Try the sweater on and work to desired length. Knit 1 round where you decrease 4 stitches evenly spaced = 28-30-32-34-36-38 stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 4 MM = US 6 and work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 5 cm = 2". Bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl – remember BINDING-OFF TIP! The sleeve measures approx. 22-25-29-34-37-41 cm = 8¾"-9¾"-11⅜"-13⅜"-14½"-16⅛" from the division. Work the other sleeve in the same way. ASSEMBLY: Fold the neck double to the inside and sew down. To avoid the neck being tight and rolling outwards, it is important that the seam is elastic. |
