Dear Neela, the instructions of the pattern might be for 4 sizes, so that you won't work any knit stitches in 1st, 3rd and 4th size, but knit 1 in the 2nd size; but for a better explanation, it might be useful to get the pattern number so that we can check together if you need further assistance; Thanks for your comprehension. Bonjour Mme Fournier, en taille S et M, on doit rabattre 8 mailles au total pour les emmanchures, en commençant au début du tour, on rabat les 4 premières mailles (la moitié des mailles des emmanchures), autrement dit les 4 m après le marqueur du début du tour puis 4 m de chaque côté du marqueur suivant (= 8 m au total) et enfin les 4 dernières mailles du tour = vous avez rabattu 8 mailles pour chacune des 2 emmanchures. Bon tricot!

08.11.2022 - 19:58I ‘d like to know how to decrease this way on the return needle when you don’t work in the round but on a straight needle (back and forth) and still have a straight line on both sides of the 6 stiches. I need this for the pieces A.2 and A.3 from Drops pattern 210-14 Spring lineup

Dear Mrs Glas-Kanis, the DECREASE TIP in this pattern is exactly the same in this pattern as in the video, ie you can work the decreases on the side as shown in the video. you are decreasing on every other round, then on every row from RS (from WS when working half front/back pieces separately you won't decrease).
