How to crochet a beautiful flower with 3D effect

In this DROPS video we show you how to crochet a beautiful flower with 3D effect.

We crochet as follows:
Crochet 10 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 1 ch, in ch-ring work 23 dc and finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round.
ROUND 2: 4 ch, * 9 ch (= ch-loop), skip 2 dc, 1 dtr in 3th dc *, repeat from *-* 6 more times. Work 9 ch and finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch from the beg of round = 8 ch loops.

Now work back and forth around each ch-loop and dtr.
ROW 1: 12 dc around the first ch-loop, 6 dc down and around dtr and finish with 1 dc in the dtr, turn piece.
ROW 2: 1 ch, skip 1st dc, 1 dc in each of next 3 dc, 1 htr in next dc, 2 tr next dc and 1 tr and 1 dtr in next dc.
Now work in the back loop like this: * 2 dtr in the same dc, 1 dtr in next dc *, repeat *-* 2 more times. 2 dtr in same dc, 1 dtr and 1 tr in next dc, 2 tr in next dc, 1 htr in next dc, 1 dc in next dc and finish with 1 sl st in the last st, turn piece.
ROW 3: 1 ch, skip the first st, work 1 dc in each of the next 25 sts. Fold piece to the right and turn piece upside down (leaves towards you), work 1 dc in the 2nd dc from the 2nd row. Turn piece.
ROW 4: 1 ch, 1 sl st in first dc, * 1 ch, 1 sl st *, repeat *-* the row out, turn piece.
ROW 5: Work sl st in all front loop from ROW 2.(now one flower-leaf is finished).
Repeat ROW 1.-5. 7 more times, but finish the last leaf with a sl st in 1st dc from ROW 1.
Decorate the flower with a pearl in the middle if you like.
