Thank you thank you thank you! I have been searching for a pattern like this for ages: and couldn’t find what I was looking for. Had bought multiple with the thought of combining them. Now I don’t need to: I am so grateful! Many thanks!

For the front, it says to bind off for armholes every other row. Shouldn't that be every row? Because if I were to actually bind off 2 stitches 2 times every other row that would mean I bind off 2 stitches at the beginning of a row, knit a row normally, then bind off 2 stitches at the beginning of a row. That must be wrong because it would put all the bind offs on only one side, right?
15.03.2024 - 13:43DROPS Design answered:
Dear Rhianne, you cast off on each side on every other row or at the beginning of each row on each side - to bind off 2 sts 2 times on each side on every 2nd row you will cast off 2 sts at the beg of next 4 rows = 2 sts, 2 times, on each side.Happy knitting!

I read the lesson on centering the pattern and I’m still unsure, Like Avril asked do I start in the centre of the pattern or just at the beginning, (I’m making 7-8 years)
01.03.2024 - 18:19DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ana, as explained in the lesson, centered =the mid front/mid back is the central stitch of one chart repeat. In size 7/8 you should have 17 repeats of the pattern in the round. You have 102 stitches for the front piece and 102 for the back piece. Stitch 51 is the mid front and stitch 153 the mid back. Since these stitches have to be the central stitch (stitch 6) of the chart, you need to calculate where you start the first repeat of the chart to get this result. In this case, before the central stitch you should have 3 full repeats of the chart and 9 stitches. So start the chart in the 4th stitch in the first repeat. Happy knitting!

Hello. After the rib, the pattern says « centring the pattern across the front and back… » I don’t understand what this means. Do I start the pattern in the centre front or just at the beginning of the new round. Thank you

¿Debo cambiar a agujas rectas?
