Hei igjen!

17.01.2025 - 22:47DROPS Design answered:
Hei Anita. Da fortsetter du diagrammene på starten igjen. Og de nye maskene strikkes fortløpende inn i A.1a /A.1c og A.2, slik at de stemmer med resten av mønstret. mvh DROPS Design

Bon tricot!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. DECREASE TIP (for sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on either side of the marker thread as follows: Work until there are 3 stitches left before the marker thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker thread sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The neck and yoke are worked in the round with circular needle, top down. The yoke is divided for body and sleeves and the body is continued in the round with circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round, with short circular needle/double pointed needles, top down. NECK: Cast on 106-110-114-118-124-128 stitches with short circular needle size 3 MM = US 2.5 and DROPS Muskat. Knit 1 round, then work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 3 cm = 1⅛". Knit 1 round where you increase 12-8-4-18-12-8 stitches evenly spaced = 118-118-118-136-136-136 stitches. Insert 1 marker at the beginning of the round; the yoke is measured from this marker. YOKE: Change to circular needle size 4 MM = US 6. Insert 4 marker threads without working the stitches and each thread is inserted between 2 stitches. The threads are used when increasing to raglan. Insert 1 marker thread at the beginning of the round, count 25 stitches (sleeve), insert 1 marker thread before the next stitch, count 34-34-34-43-43-43 stitches (front piece), insert 1 marker thread before the next stitch, count 25 stitches (sleeve), insert 1 marker thread before the next stitch. There are 34-34-34-43-43-43 stitches left after the last thread (back piece). Allow the threads to follow your work onwards. OVERVIEW OF THE NEXT SECTION: You now work pattern and increase to raglan. Read PATTERN and RAGLAN before continuing! PATTERN: Work as follows: Knit 1, A.2, knit 2, A.1a, work A.1b 2-2-2-3-3-3 times, A.1c, knit 2, A.2, knit 2, A.1a, A.1b 2-2-2-3-3-3 times, A.1c, knit 1. Continue this pattern. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! NOTE: The 4 marker threads sit between 2 knitted stitches. RAGLAN: AT THE SAME TIME on the first round increase 8 stitches to raglan. Increase by making 1 yarn over on each side of the 2 knitted stitches in each transition between body and sleeves. On the next round work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. Then work the stitches into A.1a /A.1c and A.2 as shown in the diagrams. Increase to raglan every 2nd round a total of 23-26-30-32-37-41 times = 302-326-358-392-432-464 stitches. Continue the pattern without further increases until the yoke measures 20-22-24-26-28-30 cm = 8"-8¾"-9½"-10¼"-11"-11¾" from the marker on the neck. Divide the yoke for the body and sleeves on the next round as follows: Work 3-4-4-2-4-6 stitches as before (part of back piece), place the next 65-69-77-85-91-95 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 6-6-6-8-8-8 stitches, work 86-94-102-111-125-137 stitches (front piece), place the next 65-69-77-85-91-95 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 6-6-6-8-8-8 stitches, work 83-90-98-109-121-131 stitches (rest of back piece). The body and sleeves are finished separately. The piece is now measured from here! BODY: = 184-200-216-238-266-290 stitches. Work stockinette stitch in the round, but over the 2 stitches from each row of holes on the yoke, work A.3; you are cabling stitches every 4th round, creating lines on the body under each row of holes. Continue like this for 22 cm = 8¾". Work 1 round where you increase 58-64-70-76-86-92 stitches evenly spaced = 242-264-286-314-352-382 stitches. Change to circular needle size 3 MM = US 2.5. Work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 4 cm = 1½". Bind off a little loosely. The sweater measures approx. 50-52-54-56-58-60 cm = 19¾"-20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝" from the shoulder down. SLEEVES: Place the 65-69-77-85-91-95 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on short circular needle size 4 MM = US 6 and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 6-6-6-8-8-8 stitches cast on under the sleeve = 71-75-83-93-99-103 stitches. Insert a marker thread in the middle of the 6-6-6-8-8-8 stitches under the sleeve. Allow the thread to follow your work onwards; it will be used when decreasing under the sleeve. Start at the marker thread, knit 3-3-3-4-4-4, work A.2 over the stitches from the yoke and finish with knit 3-3-3-4-4-4. When the sleeve measures 4-4-4-3-3-2 cm = 1½"-1½"-1½"-1⅛"-1⅛"-¾", decrease 2 stitches under the sleeve – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 4-4-4-3-2½-2 cm = 1½"-1½"-1½"-1⅛"-1"-¾" a total of 2-2-2-3-3-3 times = 67-71-79-87-93-97 stitches. When the sleeve measures 15-13-12-10-9-7 cm = 6"-5⅛"-4¾"-4"-3½"-2¾", knit together the 2 stitches in each row of holes and knit together the first and last stitch on the round (= 9-9-9-11-11-11 stitches decreased) = 58-62-72-76-82-86 stitches. Knit over knit and purl over purl; in sizes S and XXL purl the single stitch under the sleeve and knit this stitch in sizes M, L, XL and XXXL. Work until the sleeve measures 19-17-16-14-13-11 cm = 7½"-6¾"-6¼"-5½"-5⅛"-4⅜". On the next round, in sizes M, L and XXXL, purl 2 together on each side of the stitch mid-under the sleeve = 58-60-70-76-82-84 stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 3 MM = US 2.5 and work rib (knit 1, purl 1), making sure the rib matches with the stitches above. Work until the sleeve measures 23-21-20-18-17-15 cm = 9"-8¼"-8"-7"-6¾"-6". Bind off a little loosely. Work the other sleeve in the same way. |
