Stikk ned i 2 omganger under...strikk 2 masker...trekk over. Hmmm

Hei!
26.02.2022 - 20:45DROPS Design answered:
Hej Melissa, du starter med at felle 4 masker 1 gang, i de 3 mindste størrelser springer du over de 3 maskers felling og feller 2 masker 2-3-4 gange alt efter hvilken størrelse du strikker. God fornøjelse!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge = knit 2 rows. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.2. Stitches are decreased and increased throughout the pattern; the number of stitches in A.1 will vary between 9 and 7, in A.2 they will vary between 12 and 10 stitches. The diagrams show all rows in the pattern from the right side. INCREASE/DECREASE TIP (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase/decrease evenly, count the total number of stitches on needle (e.g. 132 stitches), and divide by the number of increases/decreases to be made (e.g. 28) = 4.7. In this example, increase by making 1 yarn over after alternately each 4th and 5th stitch; do not increase on the edge stitches. On the next row work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. When decreasing, knit together alternately each 3rd and 4th stitch and each 4th and 5th stitch. DECREASE TIP-2 (for sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on either side of the marker thread as follows: Work until there are 3 stitches left before the marker thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker thread sits between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (2 stitches decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The front and back pieces are worked separately, back and forth with circular needle, from bottom up. The sleeves are worked bottom up, in the round with short circular needle/double pointed needles, then the sleeve cap is worked back and forth. The neck is worked in the round to finish. BACK PIECE: Cast on 132-144-152-164-176-200 stitches with circular needle size 2.5 MM = US 1.5 and DROPS Alpaca or DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk. Work as follows from the right side: 1 edge stitch in GARTER STITCH – read description above, work rib (knit 2, purl 2) until there are 3 stitches left, knit 2 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. Work back and forth with garter stitch over garter stitch, knit over knit, purl over purl until rib measures 2 cm = ¾" and the next row is worked from the wrong side. On next row decrease as follows: work 1 stitch in garter stitch, purl and decrease evenly 28-31-30-33-36-42 stitches over the next 130-142-150-162-174-198 stitches - read INCREASE/DECREASE TIP, and work 1 edge stitch in garter stitch = 104-113-122-131-140-158 stitches. Change to circular needle size 3 MM = US 2.5 and work according to diagrams A.1 and A.2 as follows from the right side: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, A.1 over the next 90-99-108-117-126-144 stitches (= 10-11-12-13-14-16 repeats of 9 stitches), A.2 (= 12 stitches) and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! Continue this pattern until the piece measures 25-26-27-28-29-30 cm = 9¾"-10¼"-10⅝"-11"-11⅜"-11¾" from the cast-on edge. Now start to bind off for the armholes at the beginning of each row as follows: Bind off 4 stitches 1 time, 3 stitches 0-0-0-1-2-2 times, 2 stitches 2-3-4-4-4-6 times and 1 stitch 2-3-4-5-4-6 times on each side = 84-87-90-91-96-102 stitches. Continue the pattern, making sure there are at least 4 stockinette stitches on each side by the armholes. Work until the piece measures 42-44-46-48-50-52 cm = 16½"-17¼"-18"-19"-19¾"-20½" from the cast-on edge. On the next row bind off the middle 36-37-40-39-40-42 stitches for the neck and each shoulder is finished separately. Continue the pattern as before, with the stitches which do not fit into a complete repeat worked in stockinette stitch. Bind off 1 stitch at the beginning of the next row from the neck = 22-23-23-24-26-28 stitches on the shoulder. Work until the piece measures 44-46-48-50-52-54 cm = 17¼"-18"-19"-19¾"-20½"-21¼" from the shoulder down. Bind off. Work the other shoulder in the same way. FRONT PIECE: Cast on 132-144-152-164-176-200 stitches with circular needle size 2.5 MM = US 1.5 and DROPS Alpaca or DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk. Work as follows from the right side: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, work rib (knit 2, purl 2) until there are 3 stitches left, knit 2 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. Work back and forth with garter stitch over garter stitch, knit over knit, purl over purl until rib measures 2 cm = ¾" and the next row is from the wrong side. On next row decrease as follows: work 1 stitch in garter stitch, purl and decrease evenly 28-31-30-33-36-42 stitches over the next 130-142-150-162-174-198 stitches - read INCREASE/DECREASE TIP, and work 1 edge stitch in garter stitch) = 104-113-122-131-140-158 stitches. Work until the piece measures 36-38-39-41-42-44 cm = 14¼"-15"-15¼"-16⅛"-16½"-17¼" from the cast-on edge. On the next row place the middle 18-19-22-21-22-24 stitches on a thread for the neck and each shoulder is finished separately. Continue the pattern as before, with the stitches which do not fit into a complete repeat worked in stockinette stitch. Bind off for the neck at the beginning of each row from the neck as follows: 3 stitches 1 time, 2 stitches 2 times and 1 stitch 4 times = 22-23-23-24-26-28 stitches on the shoulder. Work until the piece measures 44-46-48-50-52-54 cm = 17¼"-18"-19"-19¾"-20½"-21¼" from the shoulder down. Bind off. Work the other shoulder in the same way. SLEEVE: Cast on 56-60-64-68-72-76 stitches with double pointed needles size 2.5 MM = US 1.5 and DROPS Alpaca or DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk. Work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2) for 4 cm = 1½". Work 1 round where you knit 2 stitches in each stitch (knit in both the front and back loops; the number of stitches doubles) = 112-120-128-136-144-152 stitches. Change to short circular needle size 3 MM = US 2.5. Insert a marker thread at the beginning of the round = mid-under sleeve. Allow the thread to follow your work onwards; it will be used when decreasing later. Work stockinette stitch in the round. When the sleeve measures 9 cm = 3½" in all sizes, decrease 2 stitches under the sleeve - read DECREASE TIP-2. Decrease like this every 4th-4th-4th-3rd-3rd-3rd round a total of 16-18-19-20-20-21 times = 80-84-90-96-104-110 stitches. When the sleeve measures 39-39-39-38-38-37 cm = 15¼"-15¼"-15¼"-15"-15"-14½", increase 16-16-18-18-20-20 stitches evenly on the round - remember DECREASE/INCREASE TIP. After all the increases and decreases there are 96-100-108-114-124-130 stitches. When the sleeve measures 48-48-48-46-46-45 cm = 19"-19"-19"-18"-18"-17¾", work the next round as follows: Start 3 stitches before the marker thread, bind off 6 stitches and work to end of row. Now work the sleeve cap back and forth as follows: Work stockinette stitch and bind off at the beginning of each row as follows: 3 stitches 0-0-0-0-1-1 time, 2 stitches 3-4-4-4-4-4 times, 1 stitch 4-4-7-10-9-10 times, 2 stitches 4-4-3-3-3-4 times and 3 stitches 1-1-1-1-1-1 time on each side = 48-48-54-54-60-60 stitches. The next row is worked as follows from the right side: Work 8-8-9-9-10-10 stitches in stockinette stitch, knit together the next 32-32-36-36-40-40 stitches, 2 and 2 (= 16-16-18-18-20-20 stitches decreased), work 8-8-9-9-10-10 stitches in stockinette stitch = 32-32-36-36-40-40 stitches. Bind off. The sleeve measures approx. 56-57-58-58-58-58 cm = 22"-22½"-22¾"-22¾"-22¾"-22¾" from the top down. Work the other sleeve in the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew the shoulder seams. Sew the side seams inside the 1 edge stitch. Sew in the sleeves, inside 1 stitch – there should be a small puff at the top of the sleeve. NECK: Use short circular needle size 2.5 MM = US 1.5 and DROPS Alpaca or DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk. Start on the shoulder and knit up stitches as follows from the right side: Knit up stitches along the back piece and as far as the stitches on the thread in front. Place these stitches back on the needle and work them, knit up stitches across the remainder of the front piece. Purl 1 row and adjust the number of stitches to 120-120-130-130-140-140 stitches (number of stitches should be divisible by 4). Work rib in the round (knit 2, purl 2) for 2 cm = ¾". Bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl. Cut and fasten the strand. |
