Bon tricot!

I think there is still much confusion on the raglan decreases. After reading all the comments, I still do not understand. The sleeve decreases are at the beginning and end of each sleeve for a total of 2 decreases per sleeve (4 total). That is clear. Where exactly are the body raglan decreases? The beginning of the back piece is also the end of the sleeve, so do you double the decrease? I think a chart would be very helpful as many of us seem confused here. Thank you for your help.
10.11.2016 - 20:15DROPS Design answered:
Dear Elke, you dec for raglan on different place on sleeves and body, on back piece and both sleeves, you will dec at beg of piece + at the end of piece, on each front you will dec only before marker (right front piece) and after marker (left front piece). Happy knitting!

13.09.2016 - 18:28DROPS Design answered:
Liebe Frau Auer, Vor dem Raglanabnahme haben Sie 270-286-306 M (siehe Grösse), dann müssen Sie so abnehmen: Ärmel: 20-21-23 Mal 2 M x 2 Ärmel = 80-84-92 Abnahmen für die Ärmel. Rumpfteil: 15-18-21 Mal 4 M (2 im Rückentel + 1 in jedem Vorderteil) = 60-72-84 Abnahmen, dh insgesamt 140-156-176 M. werden für Raglan abgenommen. Es waren 270-286-306 M - 140-156-176 = 130-130-130M.

I'm starting this sweater in a size large and it says cast on 240 stitches, that seems like a lot of stitches for a size large, is this correct? Pattern Romantic twist #169-1 Thank you! Just didn't want to start out wrong. Peggie
28.08.2016 - 16:39DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Davis, remember to check your tension ( 17 sts x 22 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm) and measurement chart for your size to have correct measurements. The bottom of the jacket starts with some K and P sts where you will then dec to shape jacket. If your tension is correct, pattern will match. Happy knitting!

19.08.2016 - 14:41DROPS Design answered:
Hej Hanne. Du tager ind paa ÆRME: 16x i hver 2. p og 4x i hver 4. pind. Du tager ind paa RYG & FORSTK: 4x i hver 4. p og 11x i hver 2. p. Det er saa 20x paa ÆRME (4m x 20 = 80 m) og 15x p RYG & FORSTK (4m x 15 = 60 m) = 130 m tilbage

I've attached the sleeves to the body but now don't understand where to do the"body " decreases. I understand the raglan decreases but not the body decreases. Where are they taken?
09.08.2016 - 21:13DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Ellis, the raglan dec on body are not made at the same time than the dec on sleeves, ie on body dec before A.2 on right front piece (end of front piece), dec after A.2 (beg of back piece) + before A.2 (end of back piece) and dec after A.2 on left front piece (seen from RS). Depending on your size you dec every 4th row, every 2nd row then every row. Happy knitting!

When piece measures 49-48-48-47-46-46 cm / 19 ¼"-19"-19"-18½"-18"-18" (shorter measurements in the larger sizes because of longer sleeve cap), bind off 6 sts mid under sleeve = 54-56-60-64-68-70 sts. Put piece aside and make another sleeve. YOKE: Slip sleeves on to same circular needle as body where armholes were bound off = 270-286-306-334-362-386 sts.
