Of Telpatroon? Bvd

Please help! What does this mean? Shawl explanations, first row: * 1 dc in each of the first/next 5 dc". In that row there is no dc yet, it is all chains. Is it "dc in each 5 chain" then skip 1 chain, and repeat until the end? I started and cannot go on... I appreciate your prompt response. Thank you...
11.10.2015 - 20:47DROPS Design answered:
Dear Asli N. it should have been "ch", pattern will be edited as soon as possible. See below video showing how to work A.1, A.2 and A.3. Happy crocheting!

Danke

Liebe Emma, im Video, in dem wir die Mustersätze A.1, A.2 und A.3 zeigen, kann man auch die Konstruktion des Tuchs sehen. Vielleicht hilft Ihnen das weiter.

SHAWL: PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.6. CROCHET INFO: Beg every row with dc with 3 ch (not counted as first dc). Beg every row with sc with 1 ch (not counted as first sc). DC-GROUP IN DC: * Work 3 dc tog as follows: Work 1 dc in next dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), work 2 dc more the same way in the same dc, pull yarn through all 4 sts on hook*, work ch 3, repeat from *-* 1 more time in same dc. FAN PATTERN: Work ch 2, skip ch 2, work 1 dc-group around next ch-space (i.e. around ch-space in the middle of dc-group) as follows: * Work 3 dc tog, i.e. work 1 dc around next ch-space but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), work 2 dc more the same way around same ch-space, pull yarn through all 4 sts on hook *, work ch 3, repeat from *-* 1 more time around same ch-space, ch 2, skip 2 ch. DIAGRAM A.1. In A.1 repeat A.y as follows: ROW 2 (= WS): * 1 dc in each of the next 5 dc, then work fan pattern *, repeat from *-* 10 times in total. ROW 3 (= RS): * Work fan pattern, then 1 dc in each of the next 5 dc *, repeat from *-* 10 times in total. Repeat these 2 rows until finished measurements. ---------------------------------------------------------- SHAWL: Work 167 LOOSE ch (includes 3 ch to turn with) on hook size 3.5 mm/E/4 with BabyAlpaca Silk. Work 3 dc in 4th ch from hook, * 1 dc in each of the first/next 5 ch, skip 1 ch *, repeat from *-* until 1 ch remains, 3 dc in last ch = 141 dc - READ CROCHET INFO. Then work as follows: ROW 1 (= RS): Work A.2 as follows: Work 5 dc in first dc, ch 2, skip 3 dc, in next dc work dc-GROUP IN dc – see explanation above, ch 2, skip 3 dc, work 1 dc in each of the next 5 dc, then work A.1 as follows: * ch 2, skip 3 dc, work dc-group in next dc, ch 2, skip 3 dc, 1 dc in each of the next 5 dc *, repeat from *-* (= A.1) 10 times in total, then work A.3 as follows: ch 2, skip 3 dc, 1 dc-group in next dc, ch 2, skip 3 dc, 5 dc in last dc = 12 fans in total on row. ROW 2 (= WS): Work A.3 as follows: Work 3 dc in first dc, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc, work FAN PATTERN - see explanation above - 1 time, work DIAGRAM A.1 – see explanation above, work A.2 as follows: 1 dc in each of the next 5 dc, work fan pattern 1 time, 3 dc in next dc, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, 3 dc in last dc. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE! ROW 3: Work A.2 as follows: Work 3 dc in first dc, ch 2, skip 3 dc, 1 dc-group in next dc, ch 2, skip 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc, work fan pattern as before, 1 dc in each of the next 5 dc, work A.y (= A.1), work A.3 as follows: Work fan pattern as before, 3 dc in next dc, ch 2, skip 3 dc, work dc-group in next dc, ch 2, skip 3 dc, 3 dc in last dc. Work A.3 and A.2 over the outermost dc and A.y (= A.1) over the middle sts as before. When A.z has been worked 1 time vertically, repeat A.z until finished measurements. I.e. there are 5 dc between every fan pattern. When A.x has been worked 1 time vertically, repeat A.x over the outermost 3 dc until finished measurements. Continue with fan pattern over fan pattern and 1 dc in every dc over the remaining sts. I.e. there is 1 fan pattern more for every time A.x is repeated and 1 fan pattern more when A.z is repeated. Continue like this until piece measures approx. 35 cm / 13 3/4'' - adjust to finish after 2nd row in A.z. EDGE: Work a finishing edge at the bottom of shawl, beg from WS: Work ch 1, work A.6 as follows over A.x: * 1 sc in first/next dc, ch 2, skip 1 dc, work dc-group in dc in next dc, ch 2, skip 1 dc, 1 sc in next dc *, repeat from *-* over A.x. Over fans already started, work fan pattern as before. NOTE: Adjust so that fan pattern continues over fan pattern. Then work A.5 over A.z (= A.3), work A.6 over A.z (= A.1), A.4 over A.z (= A.2), repeat A.6 to A.x, continue with A.6 over A.x. NOTE: Adjust so that fan pattern continue over fan pattern and to finish with 1 sc in last dc. Fasten off. ---------------------------------------------------------- HAT: PATTERN: See diagrams A.7-A.8. CROCHET INFO: Beg every round with dc with 3 ch (do not replace first dc) and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round. DC-GROUP IN dc: * Work 3 dc tog as follows: Work 1 dc in next dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), work 2 dc more the same way in the same dc, pull yarn through all 4 sts on hook *, skip 3 dc, repeat from *-* 1 more time. FAN PATTERN: Work ch 3, * work 1 dc-group around first/next ch-space as follows: Work 3 dc tog, i.e. work 1 dc around next ch-space but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), work 2 dc more the same way around same ch-space, pull yarn through all 4 sts on hook *, repeat from *-* around next ch-space, work 3 ch. INCREASE TIP: Inc 1 dc by working 2 dc in same dc. ---------------------------------------------------------- HAT: The piece is worked top down. Crochet 4 ch on hook size 3 mm / C with BabyAlpaca Silk and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Work 12 dc in ch-ring – read CROCHET INFO. Then work A.7 6 times in total as follows: ROUND 1: Work 2 dc in every dc = 24 dc. ROUND 2: Work * 1 dc in first/next dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 12 times in total = 36 dc. ROUND 3: Work * 1 dc in each of the first/next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 12 times in total = 48 dc. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE! CROCHET INFO: Beg every round with dc with 3 ch (do not replace first dc) and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch on round. ---------------------------------------------------------- WRIST WARMERS: Worked in the round. Work 48-54 loose ch on hook size 3 mm / C with BabyAlpaca Silk and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Work ch 3, * 1 dc in each of the first ch 5, skip 1 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round - READ CROCHET INFO = 40-45 dc. Then work as follows: Work 1 dc in each of the first 14-7 dc, A.9 over the next 7 dc, A.10 over the next 5 dc, A.9 over the next 7 dc, A.10 over the next 0-5 dc, A.9 over the next 0-7 dc, finish with 1 dc in each of the last 7 dc = 2-3 fan patterns. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE! Repeat A.a vertically. Continue pattern like this until piece measures 12 cm / 4¾''. Then work as follows: Work A.11 over the first 7-0 dc, work A.12 over the next 7 dc, A.b over A.9/A.10, A.11 over the last 7 dc = 6-7 fans on round. Work A.11-A.12 and A.b 1 time vertically. Piece measures approx. 16 cm / 6 1/4''. Fasten off. Work an edge around the first ch-row as follows: 1 sc in first ch, * ch 1, 1 sc in next ch *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 sl st in first sc. Fasten off. Work another wrist warmer the same way. |
