Hi again. The patterns says: When piece measures 7.5-8.5-8.5 (9.5-10) cm cast off sleeve sts at the beg of every row each side as follows: 17-19-19 (23-26) sts 1 time, 8 sts 1-1-1 (2-2) times, 6 sts 1-1-1 (1-1) time and 4 sts 1-1-2 (1-2) times = 50-56-62 (68-74) sts left on row. Where am I measuring the 7.5-8.5-8.5 (9.5-10) cm from? Thanks, Noel

Dear Noel, from the point you started the back, in other words where you cast on stitches for the back neckline. Happy knitting!

When piece measures 26-28-31 (33-36) cm insert a marker in piece (= mid shoulder). NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE. Continue for 1 cm and put piece aside. There are 62 stitches in the row. Where along the row do I place the marker? Thanks, Noel
04.11.2020 - 01:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Noel, you can insert the marker in the middle of the row, this marker will be used then to measure from, it shows the top of shoulder. Happy knitting!

Mvh DROPS Design

Bind off to shape the neckline at the beg of every row from neckline: 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 3 times = 52-56-62 (72-82) sts left on shoulder/sleeve. I'm confused. Do you knit the stitches before you slip them to the holder? If you don't the "working yarn" is on the holder. Hope that makes sense. Stay well. Thanks, Noel

Hi Noel, It is best, as you say, to work the stitches before placing them on a stitch holder. Happy knitting!

Comment dois-je faire ces augmentations? 1 fois 4 mailles sur le même rang? Ou je dois espacer d’un rang ... À 16-17-19 (20-22) cm de hauteur totale, augmenter pour les manches en fin de rang sur le côté : 1-1-2 (1-2) fois 4 m, 1-1-1 (1-1) fois 6 m, 1-1-1 (2-2) fois 8 m et 1 fois 17-19-19 (23-26) m = 66-71-78 (89-99) m
07.05.2020 - 06:26DROPS Design answered:
Bon tricot!

I expect that when a pattern is distributed to so many countries as this one is, that it has been tested for accuracy. Sadly this pattern has errors. KNitting the size 2 pattern, the first right front has 77 sts when told to put 12 sts on stitch holder for neckline. Then casting on 2 sts, then 1x3 sts gives a total of 82 sts which is the 3-4 year size not the 2 year size. So now how do I trust the rest of the pattern, Does my time have no value????
29.06.2019 - 21:25DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ms. Blacklin, our patterns are tested carefully, but of course, despite of that sometimes there may be some mistakes. But this pattern is correct. After putting 12 sts on stitch holder for neck you have to cast OFF 5 sts, so 77-5 = 72 sts for size 2 years. Happy knitting!
