Hi, making the hals. The pattern says to increase 1 stitch in each purl section. So I knit the first four stitches and last 4 stitches and increase into 1 purl stitch in the purl section. Stitches on the needle is 66 and not 76. Read some of the messages and there is no mistakes in the pattern. Don’t know what to do. Thanks for your response. S

Dear Sharon, you increase twice: when it measures 4 cm and when it measures 10 cm. So you increase 11stitches x2 times = 22 stitches. So 54 +22 = 76 stitches. Happy knitting!

American English pattern says K2P2, should be P3 to work with 45 stitches. Thanks for the cute pattern.

Dear Debra, work theh 54 stitches on neck warmer as follows: 4 sts in garter stitch, *knit 2, purl 2* repeat from *-* a total of 11 times (= over the next 44 stitches), then finish with knit 2, 4 stitches in garter stitch = 4 + 44 + 2 + 4= 54 sts. Happy knitting!

Hello, i think something is missing here....every cm 8 times in total = 10 sts. Pull thread through the 10 sts. Hat measures approx 24 cm.... I found in english US this...Now dec 1 sts on each side of all markers every cm [3/8’’] 8 times in total = 10 sts. Pull yarn through the 10 sts. .. please help me. thank you!
15.02.2018 - 21:08DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Evaggelatou, not sure where is the problem there, you insert 5 markers and dec 1 st on each side of each marker (= 10 sts dec on each dec round) every cm a total of 8 times = 80 sts will be decreased in total, 10 sts remain. Now pull yarn in the remaining 10 sts, tighten and fasten well. Happy knitting!

I don't understand pattern. I think it says "cast on 54. Does P1 row from WS mean that all WS rows are purl?I understand the knit rows. I don't understand when piece measures 4 and 10 cm. What is that? When using Puddle, is it one row in Rib and then just knit til piece almost measures 22 cm and then do the 3 increase rows? I'm sorry I'm so dense. I would greatly appreciate help. I ordered the yarn online.
14.11.2012 - 23:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Revard, you first cast on 54 sts and P 1 row, this row will be WS of work. When piece measures 4 and 10 cm means when you have worked 4 cm and when you have worked a total of 10 cm. You switch to Puddel when your work measures 14 cm and continue with Puddel until the final measurements. Happy knitting!
