Hei !

After knitting M.3 you have inc 30 sts on each side so you can knit 5 "arrows" instead of 3 as in the end of M.2.

Lotta

Gauge: 20 sts x 26 rows on needles size 4.5-5 mm/US 7-8 in stockinette sts = 10 x 10 cm / 4" x 4". Pattern: See diagrams M.1, M.2 and M.3. The diagrams are showing all rows in pattern seen from the right side. 1 repeat of M.2 (= 1 leaf) = approx 12 cm / 4¾". Note! Skip any section in the pattern with no squares and continue towards the left to the next square. Scarf: Worked back and forth on circular needle due to number of sts. Beg at the top and work towards lower edge. Cast on 7 sts with Alpaca (leave approx 100 cm / 40" yarn end to be used for assembly). Work diagram M.1 with 2 edge sts each side in garter sts and 1 st in the middle in stockinette sts. After 1 repeat of M.1 = 71 sts. Continue in diagram M.2 until piece measures approx 50 cm / 20" mid back– stop after a full repeat of M.2 = 1 whole leaf. Now work M.3 (= the last 2 rows of M.2 to create rows of holes) – make a yo each side and on both sides of the middle st on every other row. Work 12 cm / 4¾" of M.3 and then 1 repeat of M.2. Now K4 rows in garter sts over all sts, 3 rows in stockinette sts and K 1 row from the WS – continue the inc as before each side and on both sides of middle st. Bind off loosely. Assembly: Use the yarn end left when casting on. Ch 3 with hook size 3 mm / C, 1 sc in middle st on shawl, ch 3-4, skip approx 1 cm / ½", 1 sl st in next st. Repeat both sides of middle st. Crochet along both long sides as follows: 1 sc, *3 ch, skip approx 1 cm / ½", 1 sc*, repeat from *-*. |
