How to knit a strap on to a towel

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a strap on to a towel.

Cast on X number sts (in this video we have cast on 18 sts). Knit the strap from RS as follows: K 2, cast of the next X sts (we have cast of the next 5 sts), pass the last st of the 2 sts over st just worked (= 1 st dec), K over the remaining sts. Follow the pattern for the rest of the pattern.In this video we knit garter sts to finish measurement.
