How to knit A.1 in DROPS 161-9, 161-10 and 161-11
In this DROPS video we show how to knit chart A.1 used in DROPS 161-9, 161-10 and 161-11. In this video we knit back and forth, to work the pattern in the round, follow the chart text.
All 3 patterns are made in DROPS Paris, but in the video we knit with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow.
You must read the pattern and look at the chart to be able to follow. You’ll find the pattern by clicking on the picture below.

Watching the video, the demonstrator is knitting European style, I believe she is knitting from the bottom of the A1 pattern: first row Knit, second row Purl, third row yarn over Knit two together, fourth row Purl. I

Hello, According to the chart, the second row is a knit row. However your video shows a purl stitch that I’ve never actually seen. I’ve watched it a couple of times but can’t work out what is going on in that row. Thank you, Marion

Dear Marion, the 2nd row is knitted if you are working in the round and purled if you are working the jacket, ie A.1 starts with 2 rows stocking stitch. Happy knitting! 13.05.2020 - 09:09

Bonjour, la vidéo How to knit A.1 in DROPS 161-9, 161-10 and 161-11 est très floue. On n'arrive pas à voir comme il faut. Merci d'améliorer la qualité de l'image.
