Takk for all hjelp!

Hei Amina.

Bon tricot!

Knitted basic mittens in 1 thread DROPS Cloud or 2 threads DROPS Air Size S - L
DROPS Extra 0-1322 |

LEFT MITTEN: Work size S/M on double pointed needles size 7 mm / US 10.75. Work size M/L on double pointed needles size 8 mm / US 11. Worked in the round. Cast on 24 sts on double pointed needles size 7 or 8 mm with 1 thread DROPS Cloud or 2 threads DROPS Air. Work 4 rounds in stockinette st (= rolling edge). Work next round as follows: * K 1, P 1 *, repeat from *-* the entire round. Work 1 more round with K over K and P over P. Then continue in stockinette st until finished measurements. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE When piece measures 9-10 cm / 4", work an opening for thumb on next round as follows: Work 6 sts, slip the next 4 sts on a stitch holder, work the remaining 14 sts. On next round cast on 4 new sts over sts on stitch holder = 24 sts on needle. Work until piece measures approx. 20 cm / 8" in both sizes. Now dec as follows: ROUND 1: * K 4, K 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round. 4 sts have been dec = 20 sts remain on needle. ROUND 2 (and every other round onwards): K all sts. ROUND 3: * K 3, K 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 16 sts. ROUND 5: * K 2, K 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 12 sts. ROUND 7: * K 1, K 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 8 sts. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. The mitten measures approx. 24-25 cm / 9½"-9¾" vertically (includes rolling edge). THUMB: Slip the 4 sts from stitch holder back on double pointed needles size 7 or 8 mm and pick up in addition up 4 new sts along opening = 8 sts distributed on double pointed needles. Continue in the round in stockinette st until thumb measures approx. 5½-6 cm / 2¼"-2½" (measured from where sts were put back on needle). On next round K all sts tog 2 by 2 = 4 sts on needle. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. RIGHT MITTEN: Work as left mitten but reversed. I.e. work round with opening for thumb as follows: Work 14 sts, slip the next 4 sts on a stitch holder, work the remaining 6 sts. When dec beg at the top of mitten, dec as follows: * K 2 tog, K 4 *, repeat from *-* the entire round. |
