Vielen Dank!

Liebe Charlotte, ja genau, bei den Streifen meinen z.B. 2 Reihen 1 Hin + 1 Rückreihe; Viel Spaß beim Stricken!

Increase like this 2-4-2-2-8-8 times on the body (1-2-1-1-4-4 times on the sleeves).”. Does it mean that on size L , after the 18 times increases from raglan , there will be 4 more rows?
24.11.2024 - 02:04DROPS Design answered:
Dear Chris, that's right, after the 18 increases from the raglan you will work 4 more rows, where you increase 1 time only in the body (=4 stitches) and 1 time in both the body and sleeves ( = 8 stitches). Happy knitting!

08.09.2024 - 16:42DROPS Design answered:
Hei Astrid. Det kan den. Bare husk å lese godt igjennom oppskriften først, slik at du vet hvordan du f.eks skal øke istedenfor å felle, hvordan du vil strikke stolpen med i-cord osv. mvh DROPS Design

BUTTONHOLES: Work buttonholes on the right band (when the garment is worn). Work from the right side when there are 5 stitches left on the row as follows: Make 1 yarn over, knit 2 together, knit 1, slip 1 stitch purl-wise with strand in front, knit 1. On the next row (wrong side), knit the yarn over to leave a hole. The first buttonhole is worked on the first row after the neck. The other 4-4-4-5-5-5 buttonholes are then worked with approx. 9-9-9½-8½-9-9 cm = 3½"-3½"-3⅝"-3¼"-3½"-3½" between each one. RAGLAN: Increase 1 stitch before/after the raglan-stitch in each transition between body and sleeves. Increase 1 stitch by making 1 yarn over. Work the yarn overs as follows from the wrong side: BEFORE RAGLAN-STITCH: Purl the back loop. No hole. AFTER RAGLAN-STITCH: Slip the yarn-over off the left needle and replace it the other way round (insert the left needle through the back when replacing it). Purl the front loop. No hole. BANDS WITH I-CORD: START OF ROW: Work the band as follows: Slip 1 stitch purl-wise with yarn in front, knit 1, work 5 garter stitches. The pattern uses both long and short needles; start with the length which fits the number of stitches and change when necessary. The neck and yoke are worked back and forth with circular needle, from mid front and top down. When the yoke is finished, it is divided for body and sleeves and the body continued back and forth while the sleeves wait. The sleeves are worked in the round, top down. NECK: Cast on 79-81-81-89-89-95 stitches with circular needle size 5.5 MM = US 9 and 4 strands color off-white DROPS Kid-Silk. Purl 1 row from the wrong side. Then work as follows from the right side: BAND WITH I-CORD – read description above * knit 1, purl 1 *, work from *-* until there are 8 stitches left, knit 1 and BAND WITH I-CORD – remember description above. Work this rib back and forth for 4 cm = 1½". Change to circular needle size 7 MM = US 10.75 and work the yoke with STRIPES – read description above. The yoke is measured from here! YOKE: Work as follows from the right side: 7 band stitches as before, 10-10-10-12-12-14 stockinette stitches (front piece), make 1 yarn over, 1 stockinette stitch (raglan-stitch), make 1 yarn over, 11-11-11-11-11-11 stockinette stitches (sleeve), make 1 yarn over, 1 stockinette stitch (raglan-stitch), make 1 yarn over, 19-21-21-25-25-27 stockinette stitches (back piece), make 1 yarn over, 1 stockinette stitch (raglan-stitch), make 1 yarn over, 11-11-11-11-11-11 stockinette stitches (sleeve), make 1 yarn over, 1 stockinette stitch (raglan-stitch), make 1 yarn over, 10-10-10-12-12-14 stockinette stitches and 7 band stitches as before. The first increase for RAGLAN is finished – read description above. Raglan-stitches match knitted stitches on the rib. Continue with stockinette stitch, the bands and increase for raglan in each transition between the body and sleeves. Increase every 2nd row (each row from the right side) a total of 14-14-18-18-16-17 times = 191-193-225-233-217-231 stitches – REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! Continue increasing for raglan every 2nd row, but every other increase is only on the front and back pieces, i.e. increase on the front and back pieces every 2nd row and on the sleeves every 4th row, alternately 4 and 8 increased stitches. Increase like this 2-4-2-2-8-8 times on the body (1-2-1-1-4-4 times on the sleeves). You have increased a total of 16-18-20-20-24-25 times on the body and 15-16-19-19-20-21 times on the sleeves. There are 203-217-237-245-265-279 stitches. Continue working without further increases until the yoke measures 20-23-25-26-30-31 cm = 8"-9"-9¾"-10¼"-11¾"-12¼" from the neck. DIVIDE FOR BODY AND SLEEVES: Work 34-36-38-40-44-47 stitches as before (front piece), place the next 41-43-49-49-51-53 stitches on 1 thread for the sleeve, cast on 6-6-6-8-8-10 stitches (in side under sleeve), work 53-59-63-67-75-79 stitches (back piece), place the next 41-43-49-49-51-53 stitches on 1 thread for the sleeve, cast on 6-6-6-8-8-10 stitches (in side under sleeve), work the remaining 34-36-38-40-44-47 stitches as before (front piece). The piece is now measured from here! BODY: = 133-143-151-163-179-193 stitches. Continue back and forth with stockinette stitch and band stitches as before. When the body measures 20-19-19-20-18-19 cm = 8"-7½"-7½"-8"-7"-7½", work 1 row from the right side and increase 18-22-26-30-26-28 stitches evenly spaced = 151-165-177-193-205-221 stitches. Change to circular needle size 5.5 MM = US 9 and work as follows from the wrong side: 7 band stitches as before, * purl 1, knit 1 *, work from *-* until there are 8 stitches left, purl 1 and 7 band stitches. Continue this rib for 6 cm = 2⅜". Bind off. The jacket measures approx. 50-52-54-56-58-60 cm = 19¾"-20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝" from the shoulder. SLEEVES: Place the 41-43-49-49-51-53 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on short circular needle/double pointed needles size 7 MM = US 10.75 and knit up 1 stitch in each of the 6-6-6-8-8-10 stitches cast on under the sleeve = 47-49-55-57-59-63 stitches. Insert a marker-thread in the middle of the 6-6-6-8-8-10 stitches under the sleeve. Start at the marker-thread and work stockinette stitch and stripes in the round. When the sleeve measures 4 cm = 1½", decrease 2 stitches under the sleeve – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 7-5-3½-3-2½-2 cm = 2¾"-2"-1¼"-1⅛"-1"-¾" a total of 6-7-9-10-10-12 times = 35-35-37-37-39-39 stitches. Continue working until the sleeve measures 41-39-38-36-33-32 cm = 16⅛"-15¼"-15"-14¼"-13"-12½" from the division. Knit 1 round and increase 5-5-5-5-7-7 stitches evenly spaced = 40-40-42-42-46-46 stitches. Change to double pointed needles size 5.5 MM = US 9. Work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 4 cm = 1½". Bind off. The sleeve measures approx. 45-43-42-40-37-36 cm = 17¾"-17"-16½"-15¾"-14½"-14¼". ASSEMBLY: Sew the buttons onto the left band. |
