In this DROPS video we show how to work 2 I-cord edge stitches in each side, and at the same time increase in one of the sides. The same 2 edge stitches can be used in garments without increases. For example edges to a jacket. EDGE STITCHES: At the beginning of each row work 2 edge stitches as follows: Slip 1 stitch purl-wise with the strand in front, knit 1. At the end of each row work 2 edge stitches as follows: Work until there are 2 stitches left on the row, slip 1 stitch purl-wise with the strand in front, knit 1. Repeat at the beginning and end of each row. We use the yarn DROPS Snow. You must read a pattern to be able to follow this video properly. You’ll find a pattern by clicking on the pictures below.
