Hi sorry I don't understand the cast-off part of arm holes and neck. What does 2 stitches x 2 or 1 stitch x 1 mean? and then later 1 stitch x 4 or 1 stitch x 7. thanks in advance

Dear Giorgia, this means you have to cast off 2 stitches 2 times = on front piece, cast off 2 stitches at the beginning of each row from the side (from armhole) a total of 2 times then cast off 1 stitch at the beginning of next row starting from armhole (from RS on left front piece/from WS on right front piece). For the neck, cast off the stitches at the beginning of each row from the neck (from RS on right front piece/from WS on left front piece). Happy knitting!
