Liebe Frau Ortland, ja genau es werden 4 Maschen pro Reihe zugenommen, die können Sie entweder direkt beidseitig der Markierung (aus der Masche der Vorreihe) zunehmen oder mit 1/2 Maschen dazwischen (mit Umschläge z.B.). Viel Spaß beim stricken!

Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows. Garter st, when knitting in the round: *Rnd 1, knit. Rnd 2, purl.* Repeat from * - *. Buttonholes: Make buttonholes on the right front as follows: Bind off the 4th and 5th sts (4th st) and cast on 2 (1) new sts (st) on the next row. Knit 4 rows garter st, increasing (decreasing) 28-30-32-32 (28-30-34-34) sts evenly distributed on the last row = 213-219-231-237 (149-155-161-167) sts. Change to smaller circular needles and 1 strand Tynn Chenille (Cotton Chenille). Place a marker for each side: fronts = 57-58-61-63 (40-41-43-44) sts each, back = 99-103-109-111 (69-73-75-79) sts. Knit Pattern 2, keeping the 7 (5) sts at the center fronts in garter st throughout for the button bands. Make buttonholes on the right front band (see instructions above). When the work measures approx. 4-5-6-7 (2-3-4-5) cm [1.5" - 2" - 2-⅜" - 2.75" (0.75" - 1.25" - 1.5" - 2")] - adjust for complete pattern - knit the next row as follows: 7 (5) sts garter st, 18 (12) sts of Pattern 2, Pattern 3, 30-30-36-36 (12-12-12-12) sts of Pattern 2, Pattern 3, 30-36-36-42 (18-24-30-36) sts of Pattern 2, Pattern 3, 30-30-36-36 (12-12-12-12) sts of Pattern 2, Pattern 3, 19 (13) sts of Pattern 2, 7 (5) sts garter st. At the same time, after the 1st row of the pattern dec 1 st each side of each marker 3 (2) times every 2 cm (every 5 cm) [every 0.75" (every 2")]. Continue in pattern as established. After Pattern 3 is complete, knit all sts into Pattern 2. After all shaping is complete, there are 201-207-219-225 (141-147-153-159) sts on the needles distributed as follows: fronts = 54-55-58-60 (38-39-41-42) sts each, back = 93-97-103-105 (65-69-71-75) sts. When the work measures 28-30-31-32 cm [11" - 11.75" - 12.25" - 12-⅝"] bind off for armholes 2 sts at each side of each marker and knit the rest of each side separately. Front: Bind off for armholes every other row: 3 sts 1 (0) time, 2 sts 1-1-2-2 (1-1-1-2) times, 1 st 2-3-2-3 (2-3-3-3) times. At the same time, bind off 15 (11) sts at each side at the center front for the neck. Dec 1 st at neck edge every 8th row (10th row) 6-5-6-7 (4-3-5-4) times. After neck and armhole shaping is complete, 24-25-26-26 (17-18-18-18) sts remain. Bind off when the work measures 50-52-54-56 cm [19.75" - 20.5" - 21.25" - 22"]. Back: = 89-93-99-101 (61-65-67-71) sts. Bind off for armholes as on the front = 75-77-81-81 (53-55-57-57) sts. When the work measures 48-50-52-54 cm [18-⅞" - 19.75" - 20.5" - 21.25"] bind off the center 23-23-25-25 (15-15-17-17) sts for the neck. Bind off 2 sts at each neck edge on the next row. Bind off the remaining 24-25-26-26 (17-18-18-18) sts on each shoulder when the work measures 50-52-54-56 cm [19.75" - 20.5" - 21.25" - 22"]. Sleeves: Cast on 44-44-44-44 (44-44-44-44) sts (including 1 st at each side for seam knit in garter st throughout) on larger needles with 2 strands Cotton Viscose. Knit 2 rows garter st. Then knit Pattern 1 until the work measures 14-14-16-18 cm [5.5" - 5.5" - 6.25" - 7"]. Change to smaller needles and 1 strand Tynn Chenille (Cotton Chenille). Knit 4 rows garter st, increasing 12 sts (decreasing 6 sts) evenly distributed on the last row = 56-56-56-56 (38-38-38-38) sts. Knit Pattern 2, centering the pattern across the row. After the garter st inc 1 st at each side 14-14-16-16 (11-11-12-12) times: Tynn Chenille: Sizes S+M: alternately every 6th and 7th row Size L: every 5th row Size XL: alternately every 4th and 5th row (Cotton Chenille: Sizes S+M: alternately every 6th and 7th row Size L: alternately every 5th and 6th row Size XL: every 5th row) = 84-84-88-88 (60-60-62-62) sts. When the work measures 45 cm [17.75"] bind off for sleeve caps at each side every other row: Tynn Chenille: 3 sts 2 times, 2 sts 3-2-3-2 times, 1 st 7-11-10-12 times, 2 sts 4-3-3-3 times, 3 sts 2 times (Cotton Chenille: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2-1-2-1 times, 1 st 9-11-10-12 times, 2 sts 2 times, 3 sts 1 time) Bind off all remaining sts. The work measures approx. 56-57-57-58 cm [22" - 22.5" - 22.5" - 22-⅞"]. Assembly: Sew the shoulder seam. Pick up 97-97-103-103 sts around the neck and 17 sts over each of the button bands on larger circular needles with 2 strands Cotton Viscose and knit 4 rows garter st back and forth on the needles. Knit the 3rd row as follows: bind off 17 sts, inc 1 st, knit until 17 sts remain, inc 1 st, bind off the remaining 17 sts = 99-99-105-105 sts. After the garter st, knit Pattern 1, but keep 1 edge st at each side in garter st throughout. Knit until the collar measures 8.5 cm [3-⅜"], finish with 2 rows garter st, bind off. Sew the collar end pieces to the cross pieces at the center front. Crochet borders: Crochet 1 row of single crochet with 2 strands Cotton Viscose over the garter st borders around the neck and sleeves (loosely around the sleeve - Cotton Viscose is not elastic). Sew sleeve seams. Sew in the sleeves and buttons. VEST: Size:Small (Medium/Large - Extra Large) Finished measurements: Bust: 96-100-106 cm [37.75" - 39-⅜" - 41.75"] Waist: 76-80-86 cm [29-⅞" - 31.5" - 33-⅞"] Materials: Garnstudio COTTON VISCOSE from Garnstudio 54% Egyptian cotton, 46% viscose, 50 g/120 yards 300 (350-350) g. col. 02, natural Alternative yarns: * Garnstudio SAFRAN, 100% Egyptian cotton, 50 g/174 yards * Garnstudio SILKE-TWEED, 52% silk, 48% lambswool, 50 g/218 yards DROPS 3 mm [US 2] circular needles, or size needed to obtain correct gauge. 7 DROPS Mother of Pearl Buttons (size 521). Gauge: 24 sts x 32 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"]. Cotton Viscose stretches; take this into account when measuring the work. Uneven sts will for the most part straighten themselves out after washing. Cotton Viscose is not machine washable. Pattern: See chart (1 chart = 1 repeat). The pattern is seen from the right side. Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows. Buttonholes: When the work measures 1 cm [3/8"] (in the transition between the garter st border and the stockinette st), 6.5 (7-7) cm [2.5" (2.75" - 2.75")], 12.5 (13-13.5) cm [4-⅞" (5-⅛" - 5.25")], 18 (19-19.5) cm [7" (7.5" - 7-⅝")], 23.5 (25-25.5) cm [9.25" (9-⅞" - 10")], 29.5 (31-32) cm [11-⅝" (12.25" - 12-⅝")] and 35 (37-38) cm [13.75" (14.5" - 14-⅞")] make buttonholes on the right front as follows: bind off the 4th and 5th sts and cast on 2 new sts over the bound-off sts on the next row. Body: Cast on 193 (205-217) sts (including 6 sts at each edge for button bands) on circular needles knit 4 rows garter st. Place a marker for each side as follows: 51 (54-57) sts for the front, place marker, 91 (97-103) sts for the back, place marker, 51 (54-57) sts for the front. Change to stockinette st, but keep the 6 button band sts at each side in garter st throughout. Make buttonholes on the right front (see instructions above). Inc 1 st at each side of each marker every 6th row 12 times = 241 (253-265) sts. When the work measures 26 (27-28) cm [10.25" (10-⅝" - 11")] knit 4 rows garter st, then change to Pattern. When the work measures 27 (28-29) cm [10-⅝" (11" - 11-⅜")], knit garter st over 5 (6-6) sts at each side of the markers for 4 rows, then bind off 2 (3-3) sts for armholes at each side of the markers. Knit the rest of each part separately. Front: = 61 (63-66) sts. Keeping 3 sts at armhole edge in garter st, dec 1 st inside the 3 edge sts every row 5 (7-10) times, then every other row 2 times, then every 4th row 2 times = 52 (52-52) sts. When the work measures 35 (37-38) cm [13.75" (14.5" - 14-⅞")], knit 4 rows garter st over the 14 (15-16) sts at the center front edge, then bind off 11 (12-13) sts for the neck. Keeping the 3 sts at the neck edge in garter st throughout, dec 1 st at the neck edge within the 3 edge sts every row 9 times, then every other row 2 times, then every 4th row 2 times. Bind off when the work measures 50 (52-53) cm [19.75" (20.5" - 20-⅞")]. Back: = 111 (115-121) sts. Shape armholes inside the 3 edge sts as on the front = 93 (93-93) sts. When the work measures 47 (49-50) cm [18.5" (19.25" - 19.75")] knit the center 39 (41-43) sts in garter st for 4 rows, then bind off the center 33 (35-37) sts for the neck. Keeping the 3 sts at each neck edge in garter st, dec 1 st inside the edge sts at each neck edge every row 2 times. Bind off when the work measures 50 (52-53) cm [19.75" (20.5" - 20-⅞")]. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Sew on the buttons. |
