Yup, that's how I have followed the pattern, to the letter and I am still ending up short on stitches if I start with 100 stitches on the yoke. I have tried 5 different times, and it comes out the same every time.
10.08.2018 - 11:03DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Maples, check that you get the correct number of sts in row before (= 100 sts) and insert a marker between each diagram to make sure you get the correct number of sts (on 1st row A.2 is worked over 16 sts, A.3 (4 sts), A.2 (10 sts), A.4 (4 sts), A.2 (32 sts), A.3 (4 sts), A.2 (10 sts), A.4 (4 sts), A.2 (16 sts) = 16+4+10+4+32+4+10+4+16= 100 sts. Happy crocheting!

I am trying this again today, I left a question yesterday that didn't net a helpful response. Does the yoke for a large need to start out with 100 or 110 stitches? If I start with 100 stitches as the pattern states, I end up 12 stitches short on round 1. Even when I run the math, I can't figure out how to get all of the increases to end up with 128 stitches if I start with 100 stitches.
10.08.2018 - 09:34DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Maples, in size L you start row 1 in diagram with 100 sts and work 1st row in A.1-A.4 as follows: repeat A.2 (= 4 tr) over the next 16 tr and inc 4 tr (= half back piece)(= 20 tr), A.3 (= 4 tr + 2 sts inc in 1st row = 6 tr), repeat A.2 over the next 10 tr and inc 2 tr (= 12 tr), A.3 over the next 4 tr (= right sleeve) (= 6 tr), repeat A.2 over the next 32 tr and inc 8 tr (= front piece) (= 40 tr), A.3 over the next 4 tr (= 6 tr), repeat A.2 over the next 10 tr and inc 2 tr (= 12 tr), A.3 over the next 4 tr (= left sleeve) (= 6 tr), repeat A.2 (= 4 tr) over the next 16 tr and inc 4 tr (= 20 tr) = 20+6+12+6+40+6+12+6+20= 128 tr. Happy crocheting!

I have been working on this pattern for over 4 hours now and have only just managed to complete very beginning of the yoke. I have no idea how to proceed with Row 1 as it is written. Where do I put the increases after the different diagram parts are referenced? Do I put them at the end of the referenced diagram? Do they go somewhere in the middle of the referenced diagram. I am so utterly confused by the way this is written.
09.08.2018 - 10:52DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Maples, when crocheting 1st row in diagrams, work them as explained: A.1B over the first 0-2 sts (see size), then repeat A.2B over the next 14-13-16-15-18-17 sts while increasing 2-3-4-5-6-7 sts, then work A.3 increasing as shown in diagram and so on. i.e. you will increase sometimes evenly (read here how to increase evenly on some sts) and at the same time increase as shown in diagram. Happy crocheting!

Hei. Mvh Laila
