Increase - multiple at side by chain sts
Add the number of increased stitches needed to the number of turning chains being used, turn the piece and work into the new stitches.

Dear Mary, not sure which pattern you are working on (Arrowhead is a knitted pattern to me), but when you cast on new stitches at the end of each next 2 rows for sleeves you will then have 1 row difference for the sleeve, but this difference shouldn't be that visible. If you like to avoid this, just cut the yarn, and cast on stitches for sleeve, then work back/front piece and cast on the new chains for 2nd sleeve, so that the chains for both sleeves are on the same row. You might have to adjust the pattern. Happy crocheting!

Bonjour Mme Faliguerho, il est parfois difficile de supprimer l'effet escalier, mais dans le cas d'une manche, la couture vient bien souvent cacher cet effet. Bon crochet!

Hej, om du skal øke i hver side, så hækler du først det antal lm du skal øke, hækler over det stykket du har og hækler lm i den anden side af stykket. God fornøjelse!

Bonjour Mme Marimar, vous augmentez d'abord à la fin du 1er rang, puis vous crochetez le rang suivant (avec vos augm. en début de rang) et augmentez de la même façon en fin de rang. Bon crochet!

Round yoke crochet: How to increase right/left of markers
When working a round yoke top down you can increase by using markers on the row and work the increases alternatively on the right and the left of each marker. In this DROPS video we show you how to do this. Here we work back and forth, but the technique is the same if you work in the round. In the video we placed 6 markers on the row and in the first row we increase by working 2 dc in 1 dc on the RIGHT side of each marker (or BEFORE the marker) and in the second row we increase by working 2 dc in 1 dc on the LEFT side of each marker (or AFTER the marker).
