In this DROPS video we show you how to continue with the body and under sleeve after completing a round yoke. In the video we work as follows: work the dc on left front piece, 4 ch = under sleeve, dc on back piece, 4 ch = under sleeve and finishing with dc on right front piece. In the second row we show how to work dc around the ch under each sleeve. At the end we show how to start working around the armhole to start on a top down sleeve. Buonasera Laura, deve lavorare la 2° riga di A.1, cioè lavorare 3 maglie alte invece di 2 per ogni ripetizione di A.1. Buon lavoro!

Dear Mrs Brown, when piece measures 17-22 cm (see size), you will naw work next row from RS as explained: Work 1 tr in each of the first 46-50-54-58-64-70 tr (= left front piece), work 8 ch, skip 60-64-69-73-75-79 tr from previous row (= sleeve), 1 tr in each of the next 77-85-93-102-113-129 tr (= back piece), 8 ch, skip 60-64-69-73-75-79 tr from previous round (= sleeve), 1 tr in each of the last 46-50-54-58-64-70 tr (= right front piece) = 185-201-217-234-257-285 tr/ch on row.= you have now 8 chains for each armhole over the 60-79 sts skipped for each sleeve. Bonjour Suzie, on peut tout à fait crocheter un empiècement en double brides, si vous modifiez un modèle existant, pensez à bien recalculer vos augmentations car les doubles brides étant plus hautes que les brides, votre empiècement serait alors trop long. Bon crochet!

When working a raglan yoke top down you increase on specific places on the yoke creating a raglan line in each transition between body and sleeves. In this DROPS video we show how you can do this. We work back and forth on this video, but the technique is the same if you work in the round. We have placed 4 markers on the row and we increase by each marker working 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc around the ch-space. In the second row we show how to work the sleeves after the yoke is finished and in the third row we show how to work dc in the ch under each sleeve. How to turn 1 strand into 3 from the same ball of yarn

In this DROPS video we how to make 3 strands out of 1 single strand from a ball of yarn. 1. Make a simple loop (like the loop worked when you begin any crochet project) and pull it to approx. 2-3 cm = ¾"-1⅛" in length. 2. Thread the strand from the skein through this loop, creating a new loop of approx. 40-50 cm = 15¾"-19¾". 3. Lay this loop alongside the working strand, so 1 strand becomes 3 strands. 4. Knit or crochet using these 3 strands until there is approx. 2 cm = ¾" left. Repeat points 2 to 4.

How to join 2 pieces, then bind off with I-cord

In this DROPS video we show you how to join 2 pieces together (A and B), then binding off with an I-cord. Place all the stitches from A and B on the same needle, so that every second stitch on the needle belongs to A and B. We bind off with I-cord as follows: - Cast on 3 stitches onto the right needle. Slip the 3 stitches from the right needle onto the left needle with the working strand now situated 3 stitches in on the left needle. - ROW 1 (= right side): Knit 2, knit 3 twisted together (i.e., 1 stitch from the front piece and 1 stitch from the back piece is decreased). Slip 3 stitches from the right needle back onto the left needle. Do not turn (working like this tightens the working strand so the piece forms a small tube). - Repeat ROW 1 until there are 3 stitches left. Bind off and fasten all strands.

In this DROPS video we show you how to work a textured edge on the right side of the piece. We have already worked a section of stockinette stitch in the round and begin the video by showing you how to pick up stitches from the wrong side as follows: Find the stitch which lies 2 rounds below the next stitch on the needle, pick up this stitch in the top loop (from the wrong side) and place it on the left needle.
