Hvilket nivå er denne å strikke? Nybegynner eller øvet?

Hei Lene.

I am knitting the M size and having issues with the sleeve tops. I am to cast off at the beginning of each side but the sleeve top doesn't seem big enough to fit the body piece. Can you please give me a little more detail so I can get my stitch count correct?
30.07.2013 - 08:08DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Bean, the sleeve cap should be between 8 and 13 cm depending on the size you are knitting (see measurement chart), so that it should fit the armhole. Happy knitting!

The instructions origianlly say to place a marker after 107 st for size L, presumably leaving those 107 for the front and the other 117 for the back, but, after this inc in the body and moving on to the front pice, the beginning of the front pice section says there are still only 107 st on the front, even though there were inc occurring.
28.01.2013 - 03:18DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Reeder, after rib, you should have dec sts to adjust to 214 sts ie 107 st for both front and back piece. Happy knitting!

Alison Reeder wrote:
During the body for size L you say to inc 1 st on each side of both markers a total of 4 times. this is adding 4 sts 4 times for a total of 16 st added. however the new st total given is just 230; only 6 added st. please clarify these numbers for me.
28.01.2013 - 03:17DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Reeder, in size L, you cast on 224 sts and dec evenly 10 sts after rib, 214 sts remain : 107 sts for front and back piece. You inc 4 times 4 sts, 214 + 16 = 230 sts. Happy Knitting!

Dear Anne, just follow diagram 1. There is not always the same amount of stitches between the “snowflakes” (3 or 4).

PATTERN: See diagram M.1 – diagram is worked in stockinette st and show 1 repetition of pattern. -------------------------------------------------------- BODY: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 184-208-224-248-264-288 sts on circular needle size 3 mm / US 2or3 with beige brown. Work rib = K 5/P 3 for 5 cm / 2". Switch to circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 and K 1 round while at the same time dec 10-14-10-14-10-14 sts evenly = 174-194-214-234-254-274 sts. Insert a marker at beg of round and a marker after 87-97-107-117-127-137 sts (these marks the sides). Continue in stockinette st. REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE! When piece measures 15 cm / 6", inc 1 st on each side of both markers. Repeat inc every 8 cm / 3⅛" a total of 4 times = 190-210-230-250-270-290 sts. When piece measures 41-43-44-46-47-49 cm / 16⅛"-17"-17¼"-18"-18½"-19¼", work diagram M.1 – start at the st marked with an arrow for your size, start again at the same arrow when you get to the marker in the side so that the pattern is the same on the front and back with 1 star in the middle. When piece measures 46-47-48-49-50-51 cm / 18"-18½"-19"-19¼"-19¾"-20", bind off 8 sts in each side for armholes (i.e. Bind off 4 sts on each side of both markers). Finish front and back piece separately. FRONT PIECE: = 87-97-107-117-127-137 sts. Work diagram M.1 until it is finished, then continue to work with beige brown. AT THE SAME TIME bind off for armhole at beg of every row in each side: 3 sts 0-0-1-1-2-3 times, 2 sts 0-2-2-3-3-4 times and 1 st 2-2-2-4-5-4 times = 83-85-89-91-93-95 sts remain on needle. When piece measures 59-61-63-65-67-69 cm / 23¼"-24"-24¾"-25½"-26⅜"-27⅛", slip the middle 21-21-23-23-25-25 sts on a stitch holder for neck. Then finish each shoulder separately - AT THE SAME TIME bind off on every row from neck: 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 3 times = 24-25-26-27-27-28 sts remain on shoulder. Bind off when piece measures 66-68-70-72-74-76 cm / 26"-26¾"-27½"-28⅜"-29⅛"-30". BACK PIECE: Work as on front piece but do not bind off for neck until piece measures 64-66-68-70-72-74 cm / 25¼"-26"-26¾"-27½"-28⅜"-29⅛". Now bind off the middle 33-33-35-35-37-37 sts. Finish each shoulder separately - AT THE SAME TIME bind off 1 st on next row from neck = 24-25-26-27-27-28 sts remain on shoulder. Bind off when piece measures 66-68-70-72-74-76 cm / 26"-26¾"-27½"-28⅜"-29⅛"-30". SLEEVE: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 48-56-56-56-56-64 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm / US 2or3 with beige brown. Work rib = K 5/P 3 for 6 cm / 2⅜". Switch to double pointed needles size 4 mm / US 6 and work in stockinette st. Insert a marker mid under sleeve. When piece measures 10 cm / 4", inc 1 st on each side of marker. Repeat inc on every 8th-9th-7th-6th-5th-6th round a total of 15-13-15-17-19-17 times = 78-82-86-90-94-98 sts. When piece measures 54-53-52-51-50-49 cm / 21¼"-21"-20½"-20"-19¾"-19¼" (shorter measurements in the larger sizes because of longer sleeve cap and broader shoulder width), bind off 8 sts mid under sleeve. Then continue back and forth on needle - AT THE SAME TIME bind off for sleeve cap at the beg of every row in each side: 2 sts 3 times and 1 st 3-5-6-7-9-10 times, then bind off 2 sts in each side until piece measures 61 cm / 24", then bind off 4 sts 1 time in each side. Bind off the remaining sts, the piece measures approx. 62 cm / 24½" for all sizes. ASSEMBLY: Sew shoulder seams and sew in sleeves. NECK: Pick up approx. 85 to 95 sts around the neck (includes sts on stitch holder at the front) on a short circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 with beige brown. P 1 round, then K 1 round while at the same time inc evenly to 96-96-104-104-112-112 sts. Continue with rib = K 5/P 3 for 4 cm / 1½", bind off with K over K and P over P. |
