Dear Mrs Montgomery, to work these slippers work with 2 strands of yarn, ie with 1 strand from 2 balls (or with the strand from inside of ball together with the strand from outside of ball). I made my granddaughter a slouch hat out of Nepal (color 3112. I know it's back-ordered and I asked to be notified when it's in stock again. I now would like to make her wrist warmers to match (pattern #131-31). The crocheted part is supposed to be made with Puddel which looks to be discontinued. What yarn could I use instead? In reading the pattern, is it correct that I need 2 balls of the main glove (Nepal) and 1 each of the 2 colors for the crocheted part? Thank you. Connie
