Knit one below, k1b
K1b: put your right needle through the stitch below the first st on the left needle, bring the yarn through and lift st of left needle.
"knit one below", "K1b" is a knitting technique that allows you to create rib, nice textures and also vertical stripes when using 2 colors as in our video.
Cast on an uneven number of sts on double pointed needles or on a circular needle for a larger project.
Row 1 (RS) green: K1, *K1, k1b*, repeat *-* and end with K2, slide sts to the right side of needle.
Row 2 (RS) white: P1, *k1b, K1*, repeat *-* and end with k1b, P1, turn.
Row 3 (WS) green: P1, *P1, purl1below*, repeat *-* and end with P2, slide sts to the right side of needle.
Row 4 (WS) white: K1, *purl1below, P1*, repeat *-* and end with purl 1 below, K1, turn.
Repeat row 1-4.
