In this DROPS video we show how to work a rib with knit 1, purl 1 on circular needle. Working a rib gives an elastic piece that is great for cuffs and edges. Cast on a number of stitches that is divisible by 2, then put the circular needle “together” and start with knit 1 (the first stitch that was cast on), purl 1, knit 1, purl 1, etc. the entire round (you can also start with purl 1, knit 1, etc.).
