How to knit double seed (moss) stitch in the round
In this DROPS video we show how to knit double seed (or moss) stitch in the round.
When you knit double seed st/moss st in the round on a circular needle you need to cast on a number of sts that can be divided by 4. Then you will get a nice transition between K and P sts all the way around, and you will not be able to see the beginning of the round.
You work alternately K 2 and P 2 all way around.
Round 1: work K2, P2 around
Round 2: work K2, P2 around
Round 3: work P2, K2 around
Round 4: work P2, K2 around
Repeat round 1.-4.
It's a good idea to place a marker at the beginning of the round. In our video we show the end of 2nd round, the transition to 3rd round, and then the beginning of 3rd round.
