How to knit A.1 in DROPS 145-18

In this DROPS video we show you how to start knitting the Blue Breeze poncho in DROPS 145-18 from bottom and up following chart A.1, at the same time as you cast on 2 sts at the end of each row. We show the last garter st row right before you work next row with chart A.1 starting at the bottom right corner of the chart.. Row 1 following chart: Pattern tells that the 2 new sts are knitted K and first st in chart is K, then knit *yo, slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso *, repeat til end of row, cast on 2 new sts. Row 2-6: K sts on every row and remember to cast on 2 new sts at the end of every row. Row 7 in chart: K the first 2 new sts, * K2 tog, yo* repeat *-* until 1 st remain, K this st, cast on 2 new sts. Row 8-12: K sts on every row and still remember to cast on 2 new sts at the end of every row. This poncho is made in DROPS Paris, but in the video we knit with DROPS Snow. How to work a little bit of chart A.2 in DROPS 145-18

In this DROPS video we show you how to work a little bit of the chart A.2 for the Blue Breeze poncho in DROPS 145-18. We work 1 rapport of chart A.2 (= A.2A, A.2B and A.2C). First rows in chart are already worked, so we start with Row 7. Row 8 and all even rows: P all sts. We also show a little of row 9 and row 13 following chart, and now you will be able to see what the pattern will look like. How to knit A.1 in DROPS 150-12

In this DROPS video we show how to knit chart A.1 for the Dove poncho in DROPS 150-12. There are two charts to this pattern, one is knitted in the right side and the other one in the left side, so that the garter st ridges are at the outermost edges each side, and the cables pull towards the middle of piece. Chart A.1 is knitted at the outermost edge on left front piece and in the right side (the beginning of row) on the back piece. On first row work chart A.1 over 22 sts, but since you inc 1 st on every 2nd row the number of sts in the chart will increase and the cable will therefore gradually move to the left, i.e. in over the section in stockinette st. The 3 sts that are purled in the right side works right over each other all the way, but since you increase 1 st on every 2nd row following the chart this line will move slantwise towards the middle together with the cables. We speed over long pieces of stitches and purl stitches. This poncho is made in DROPS Nepal and DROPS Kid-Silk, in the video we knit with DROPS Snow. How to knit stitches further down as in A.1 in DROPS 151-2

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a stitch further down in the work, so that is creates a nice effect. We show a section of chart A.1 used for the Frozen Ivy poncho in DROPS 151-2. We start the video 5 stitches before we knit the stitch further down in work. Insert needle down in st 6 rows below, get the yarn from the back of piece, pull yarn approx. 2 cm long, K 1, insert needle down in st 6 rows below, get the yarn from the back of piece, pull yarn approx. 2 cm long = 3 sts. On next row work as follows: Slip 1 st as if to K, K 2 tog, psso. This poncho is made in DROPS Karisma, but in the video we knit with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. How to knit A.1 in DROPS 159-17

In this DROPS video we show you how to knit chart A.1 for the Late in August poncho in DROPS 159-17. In this video we have cast on 24 stitches and already knitted the chart once in height. On the last row of the chart (row 6) where you slip the 6 stitches, only the stitches between the yarn overs should be put on the right needle. The yarn overs are only there to make the stitches longer, they should not be put on the needle. This poncho is made in DROPS Cloud, in the video we knit with DROPS Snow. How to decrease 2 stitches in DROPS Extra 0-1145

In this DROPS video we show you how to decrease 2 stitches as in DROPS Extra 0-1145. We knit like this: - slip first st loosely on to right needle, slip next st on cable needle in front of piece, slip the outermost st on right needle back on left needle and K 2 tog, pass the outermost st on right needle back on left needle, pass st on cable needle over the outermost st on left needle so that it is not twisted and slip this st over on to right needle.
