How to crochet eyes to a play mouse

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet the eyes to the play mouse in DROPS Extra 0-1506. The eyes are crocheted by long double crochet in a stitch 2 rounds below. Crochet like this: Use Colour 1 and work 1 double crochet in each of the first 8 double crochets, insert the hook in the next stitch on round 6 (= 2 rounds below), use Colour 2 and pull this strand through the stitch, change back to Colour 1 and pull the strand through the 2 loops on the hook (= 1 eye/1 long double crochet), work 1 double crochet in each of the next 6 double crochets with Colour 1, insert the hook in the next stitch on round 6 (= 2 rounds below), use Colour 2 and pull the strand through the stitch, change back to Colour 1 and pull the strand through the 2 loops on the hook (= 1 eye/1 long double crochet), work 1 double crochet in each of the last 8 double crochets = 24 stitches. Fasten the Colour 2 strand on the inside (wrong side) of the mouse. This mouse is worked in DROPS Lima, but in this video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow.
