How to crochet a simple little rose

In this DROPS video we show how you can crochet a beautiful little rose. Ch 9, turn and crochet 1 tr (US dc) in 3rd ch from hook. Crochet 2 tr in each of following 5 ch = 12 tr. Turn. Ch 3, then 5 tr in space between 1st and 2nd tr from prev row. *skip 2 tr, and in next space crochet 5 tr*, repeat *-* = 6 petals. Cut yarn. Roll together the rose and fasten with a few stitches. How to crochet a beautiful flower with 3D effect

In this DROPS video we show you how to crochet a beautiful flower with 3D effect. We crochet as follows: Crochet 10 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 1 ch, in ch-ring work 23 dc and finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round. ROUND 2: 4 ch, * 9 ch (= ch-loop), skip 2 dc, 1 dtr in 3th dc *, repeat from *-* 6 more times. Work 9 ch and finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch from the beg of round = 8 ch loops. Now work back and forth around each ch-loop and dtr. ROW 1: 12 dc around the first ch-loop, 6 dc down and around dtr and finish with 1 dc in the dtr, turn piece. ROW 2: 1 ch, skip 1st dc, 1 dc in each of next 3 dc, 1 htr in next dc, 2 tr next dc and 1 tr and 1 dtr in next dc. Now work in the back loop like this: * 2 dtr in the same dc, 1 dtr in next dc *, repeat *-* 2 more times. 2 dtr in same dc, 1 dtr and 1 tr in next dc, 2 tr in next dc, 1 htr in next dc, 1 dc in next dc and finish with 1 sl st in the last st, turn piece. ROW 3: 1 ch, skip the first st, work 1 dc in each of the next 25 sts. Fold piece to the right and turn piece upside down (leaves towards you), work 1 dc in the 2nd dc from the 2nd row. Turn piece. ROW 4: 1 ch, 1 sl st in first dc, * 1 ch, 1 sl st *, repeat *-* the row out, turn piece. ROW 5: Work sl st in all front loop from ROW 2.(now one flower-leaf is finished). Repeat ROW 1.-5. 7 more times, but finish the last leaf with a sl st in 1st dc from ROW 1. Decorate the flower with a pearl in the middle if you like.

How to crochet a flower with six petals

In this DROPS video we show how you can crochet a beautiful flower with six petals. We crochet as follows: Crochet 6 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 1 ch, 12 dc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round. ROUND 2: 4 ch (replace 1st dtr), 1 dtr in first dc * 5 ch, skip1 dc, crochet 1 dtr, but wait with last pull through, crochet 1 dtr in the same st, and now pull the yarn through all 3 sts on hook *. Repeat *-* 4 times and finish with 5 ch and 1 sl st in top of the 1st, dtr-group = 6 dtr-groups. FLOWER PETALS: * 3 ch, crochet around the 1st dtr in dtr-group from previous round as follows: ** 9 tr, but wait with last pull through = 10 sts on needle, 1 YO and pull through last st, 1 YO and pull through the two next st, 1 YO and pull through the next two sts, continue like this until you have 1 st left on needle **. 3 ch, 1 sl st in 3rd ch from hook. Crochet around 2nd dtr in dtr-group from previous round in the same way, crochet ** - **. 1 sl st around the 3 ch at start of row and 1 sl st around the top of dtr-group from 2nd row. Crochet 6 dc around ch-loop and finish with 1 sl st in the next dtr group *. Repeat from *-* 5 times, but in the last flower finish with a 1 sl st in 1st ch on round = 6 flower petals. The green flower is crocheted in DROPS Snow, while the pink flower is crocheted in DROPS Cotton Viscose.

How to crochet an African Flower Hexagon

In this DROPS video we show you how to crochet a hexagon african flower. Work 5 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch – wih COLOR 1. ROUND 1: Work 3 ch (replace 1st tr), 1 tr in ch-ring, * 1 ch, 2 tr in ch-ring *, repeat from *-* 4 times more. Finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch in beg of round. Cut thread. ROUND 2: Change to COLOR 2 and work 1 sl st in first ch-space, 3 ch (replace 1st tr), 1 tr, 1 ch, 2 tr in same ch-space. How to crochet a calla flower

In this DROPS video we show how we crochet a Calla flower. We make it in DROPS Snow, but the small Calla in the video is made in DROPS Safran, crochet hook size. 3, color no. 18, 11 and 31, and it weighs about 10 gr and measures 27 cm. Color 1: Work 5 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Round 1: 1 ch, 8 dc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round. Round 2: 2 ch, 2 htr in each of the next 3 dc, 2 dc in each of the next 2 dc, 2 htr in each of the next 3 dc. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st htr on round. Round 3: 2 ch, * 1 htr in each of the next 2 sts, 2 htr in next st, 1 htr in each of the next 2 sts, 2 htr in next st, 2 tr in each of the next 4 sts, 2 htr in next st, 1 htr in each of the next 2 sts, 2 htr in next st, 2 htr in each of the next 2 sts, finish with 1 sl in 1st htr on round. Round 4: 2 ch, * 1 htr in each of the next 2 sts, 2 htr in next st, * repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 1st htr on round. Work 1 round with dc in every dc the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in the 1st dc on the round. Cut the thread, but leave enough thread to sew up the piece. Bend the piece double and sew together *. Cut and fasten threads. Color 3: Work 45 ch. Work *-* (optionally: place a wire inside). Cut and fasten threads. Sew flower stalk and the stem in the flower leaf.

How to crochet a summer bracelet with flower

In this DROPS video we show how to make a super simple, but beautiful bracelet with a decorative flower. We crochet the bracelet in DROPS Snow, but we have used DROPS Belle, crochet hook size 3.5 and buttons in sizes 15 mm on the other bracelets in the video. BRACELET: Crochet 14 ch, continue with 29 ch looser, turn the piece, 1 sl st in 2nd st from hook, 1 dc in each of the next 26 sts, 1 sl st in next st, turn piece, skip 1 st and crochet 1 sl st, 1 dc in each of the next dc the entire row, finish with 1 sl st in last st. Crochet 14 ch, cut and tighten the thread (if desirable tie a knot). FLOWER: Crochet 3 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 1 ch, work 6 dc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round. ROUND 2: 1 ch, in every dc the entire round work: 1 dc, 3 ch, in 3rd ch from hook work 1 htr and 1 tr. Finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round = 6 leaves. Cut and fasten threads. Attach a button to the flower and sew the flower in bracelet. The bracelet measures 29 cm (without tie bands 14 cm) and weighs about 2 g (without button).

How to crochet a puff stitch flower

In this DROPS video we show you how to crochet a puff stitch flower. This little flower is easy and fast to make and perfect for decoration. Work as follows: Crochet 4 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 3 ch and work 11 tr in ch-ring (= 12 st). Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch. ROUND 2: **work 2 ch, *yo, insert hook in same st as ch2, pull through*, repeat *-* 2 more times = 7 st on hook (when pulling through, have your yo’s loosely match your ch2). Yo and insert hook in your next st, pull thread through and repeat 2 more times = total of 13 st on your hook. Make a final yo and pull through all st on hook. Ch 2 and make 1 sl st in next st. ** Repeat **-** 5 more times = 6 puff stitches / petals on flower. Fasten off.
