How to work a strap with cable to a top

In this DROPS video we show how to work after chart A.6 to the “Seaside Spirals” top in DROPS 211-13, but the same technique / similar cable is used in other patterns. This top is worked in DROPS Paris, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern and look at the chart to be able to follow this video properly. How to work a right front piece to a top

In this DROPS video we show how to work the right front piece to the “Seaside Spirals” top in DROPS 211-13, but the same technique / similar cable is used in other patterns. Even though the body is worked around, we only show the front piece in this video. We have already worked chart A.3 (V-neck) and put the front pieces stitches and stitches under the sleeves on different threads. We start the video where we cast on 5 stitches and show how to work after chart A.4, and at the same time we work the "edge" together with the top. We also show how to work some of chart A.5, how to decrease after chart A.5 and before chart A.4. We do not have the same number of stitches as in the pattern. How to work after charts to the short puffed sleeve in DROPS 222-20

In this DROPS video we show how to work the short puffed sleeve with lace pattern in DROPS 222-20. We have already cast on 11 stitches (we use less no of stitches than it says in the pattern) and work 2 rows before we start on the charts. We work chart A.2 and A.4 1 time and A.3 2 times in the width. We work the charts 1 time in height and and when the diagrams are to be repeated in height, we work A.2 and A.4 1 time, while A.3 is now worked 4 times in width. This top is worked in DROPS Safran, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern and look at the charts to be able to follow this video properly. How to knit the lace pattern in DROPS 148-11 and 148-12

In this DROPS video we show how to knit the pretty and yet easy lace pattern used in the waist on the two popular patterns DROPS 148-11 and DROPS 148-12. In the video the first rows are knitted and we start on the first actual pattern row in chart. We P2 on each side of the pattern to make it easy to see how the holes will look like from RS: 3rd row = first actual pattern row (right side): P2 (edge sts), 1 yo, slip 1 st as if to K, K 2 tog, psso, 1 yo, P3, 1 yo, slip 1 st as if to K, K 2 tog, psso, 1 yo, P2 (edge sts). 4th row (in video we knit it from WS): K2 (edge sts), P3, K3, P3, K2 (edge sts). 5th row (right side): P2, K3, P3, K3, P2 6th row (WS): as row 4. 7th row (right side): knit pattern again as on row 3 The actual pattern rows are knitted on every 4th row and the other rows are knitted with K over K and P over P. How to work a little part of the chart in DROPS 146-8

In this DROPS video we show how to work 11th and 12th round of chart A.1. For the chart to fit, you need to start the 11th round by working the last 2 stitches on the 10th round. When the chart is repeated in height, knit 2 stitches at the end of the 12th round. This top is worked in DROPS Muskat, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. How to work the pattern to the summer top in DROPS 64-8

In this DROPS video we show how to work the pattern to the “Beachside Garden” summer top in DROPS 64-8. First we pick up stitches from WS over 2 crocheted flower square. When working the pattern we knit 2 stitches in each side, both from RS and WS. Work like this: ROW 1: K 2, * slip 1 stitch as if to K, K 1, pass the slipped stitch over 1 K and leave the slipped stitch on left needle, K the slipped stitch *, repeat from *-*, finish with K2. ROW 2: K2, work all stitches in stocking stitch seen from RS, finish K 2. Repeat 1st and 2nd row in height.
