How to crochet a granny square with color changes
In this DROPS video we show to make a basic granny square with colour changes.
They are very popular and can be used on many projects. After each colour change, crochet around the old yarn end to fasten before cutting it.
Crochet 6 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 3 ch, 2 tr in ring, * 3 ch, 3 tr *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times and finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. Turn piece. Change colour.
ROUND 2: 3 ch, 2 tr in first ch-space, 3 ch, 3 tr in the same ch-space, * 1 ch, 3 tr in the next ch-space, 3 ch, 3 tr in the same ch-space *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. Turn piece. Change colour.

Turn piece.
