How to work a domino square

In this DROPS video we show how we work a domino square. Cast on 5 stitches and insert 1 marker thread in the middle stitch. Work the domino square as follows: ROW 1 (= wrong side): Knit. ROW 2 (= right side): Knit as far as the stitch with the marker thread, 1 yarn over, knit 1 (stitch with marker thread), 1 yarn over, knit to end of row. ROW 3 (= wrong side): Knit. ROW 4 (= right side): Knit as far as the stitch with the marker thread, 1 yarn over, knit 1 (stitch with marker thread), 1 yarn over, knit to end of row. Work ROWS 1-4 onwards until finish measurement. Cast off – but on the cast-off row increase as before in the corner; yarn overs are cast off as you go (this avoids the corners being tight). How to knit a strap on to a towel

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a strap on to a towel. Cast on X number sts (in this video we have cast on 18 sts). Knit the strap from RS as follows: K 2, cast of the next X sts (we have cast of the next 5 sts), pass the last st of the 2 sts over st just worked (= 1 st dec), K over the remaining sts.
