How to knit a wave pattern

In this DROPS video we shows how to knit a wave pattern using decreases and yarn overs. In this video we are following a pattern repeat with 17 sts in width and 4 rows in height. 1st row (RS): K2 tog 3 times, yo, K1, yo, K1, yo, K1, yo, K1, yo, K1, yo, K2 tog 3 times. 2nd row (WS: K all sts (they will be purled seen from RS) 3rd row: K all sts 4th row: P all sts When casting off, work the first row of M.1 whilst casting off (to make the binding off edge wavy too). How to work wave pattern after charts

In this DROPS video we show how to work after chart A.1 and A.2 to the Good Night Baby blanket in DROPS Baby 33-4. We work 2 rapports after the charts and we have already casted up 42 stitches + 3 edge stiches in each side (= 48 stitches). This blanket is worked in DROPS Baby Merino, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern and look at the charts to be able to follow this video properly. How to knit A.1 in DROPS 163-17

In this DROPS video we show how to work the wave pattern following chart A.1 for the Mermaid Song blanket in DROPS 163-17. We knit 3 edge stitches on each side and knit A.1 2 times the width. We've already knitted A.1 2 times in height and start video with row 6 in the chart from the WS. This blanket band is made in DROPS Snow, we knit with the same yarn in the video. How to knit a zigzag pattern

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a zigzag pattern, which is used in several of our designs. In this video we cast on 40 sts and K2 rows. Continue as follows: Row 1: knit this row with dec as a start off for the zigzag pattern; in the center of each repeat dec by slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso and then K2 tog as shown in the chart on the pattern. Row 2 (WS): P all sts Row 3 (RS): dec as on row 1, in addition inc 1 st each side of each pattern repeat by K2 in 1 st. Repeat row 2 and 3. How to work the wrist warmers in DROPS 190-33

How to knit the start of a zigzag shawl following a chart

In this DROPS video we show how to knit the first 11 rows of our very popular zigzag shawls following a chart.. Cast on 17 sts and P 1 row from WS, then continue as in the video shows, working chart 8 times and finish row with 1 st in stockinette. On all rows from WS purl all sts and yo's. How to knit an edge on a shawl, while casting off

In this DROPS video we show you how to knit an edge on your shawl and at the same time binding of the stitches. When you are ready with the sts on the shawl don't turn the piece but cast on 14 new sts for shawl edge from WS. Turn the piece, K1 row over the new sts (= RS), turn the piece and knit according to diagram = 1st row in the diagram is WS. In this DROPS video we already knitted the first repeat of the edge. We start off with the second repeat of the edge: 1st row = WS: Slip 1st st as to P, K1, 1YO, K2 tog, k1 to 4 st remain of the edge sts, 1 YO, K2 tog, 2 YO, K the last two stitches. Turn the piece 2nd row = RS: K2, work only 1 of the double YO, drop the second one. K to 3 st remain of the edge st, 1 YO, K2 tog and work the last st together with the first free st from the shawl. Turn the piece and knit 3rd row of the diagram and so on. In the last row from the diagram on the RS we bind off the first 8 sts, knit the rest of the edge sts according to diagram = 14 sts on the needle and repeat the diagram again. In this DROPS video we show how to knit after chart A.1 that is used in the “Warm Waves” scarf in DROPS 180-32. We have already knitted 1 GARTER STITCH (= knit 2 rows) and start the video with knit 3 stitches, then we knit A.1 twice after each other before we finish with knit 3 stitches.
